Everything Works as Described!
So far everything works as described. I followed the instructions and cleaned the punch with the supplied cardboard. It punched through the cardboard with ease. While I was cleaning the oil from the punch, I changed how deep it punched the paper margin and that worked perfectly and accurately as well. Once I tore down the spine of a book I wanted to make a spiral bound book, I started punching approx. 8 sheets at a time and every sheet punched through as it should. The more sheets you punch the harder it becomes to punch and the pages may not punch as cleanly. Just know the limits of the machine and don't try to do too much at once. It doesn't take that long, it just takes patience. I don't think this machine is made for a production line assembly, hence the price, I then punched through the front and back covers with no problems at all. I have made 3 spiral bound books now of different thicknesses and one of them was 218 pages, with no problems. I like to have my art books in spiral bound so the pages stay open while I am practicing painting. I had to buy larger size spirals for my thicker books and I also bought clear covers for them as well. I would have to say the hardest part is tearing down the books and that is not all that difficult, it is just time consuming. This machine met all my expectations for a price of 75.99 at the time of purchase. I have many more books to convert and if things change I will update my review and note changes.

No support if it does not work
The one I purchased does not work. Since it’s purchased from a third party I have to deal with them. They have not been responsive after several tries. So far I’m stuck with an $80 plus machine that just takes up space. If I ever hear from the Seller and they can make this right then I’ll update the review. For now though I’ll tell you to stay away.

The machine is great.. pliers not so much
I’m a new homeschool mom, so I was so excited to purchase this! It works pretty well. My biggest complaint is the pliers. I watched countless videos and even had my very mechanically inclined husband try to use them. He was successful once (I never was) at getting the tool to work properly and cut and “curl” the end. After looking at it closer, he said the pliers were off and didn’t have the right space to successfully do what they’re supposed to do. So I just stopped using it and now I bend it by hand. It works, just annoying.

Very useful
I love this thing. Definitely one of the best purchases I have ever made. It's very simple to use and pretty accurate with matching the holes. I use this to make "study packets" for school purposes. The only problem is the machine itself has a decent weight to it so you can't really carry it around to different rooms in the house with ease. I think it was also reasonably priced for all the functions it can do.

Uh-oh
Update: received the replacement and it does work. Not completely happy with it still because I'm afraid I'll break it each time I use it. Debating on whether to keep or return it -------- Just received mine today. Would only punch holes on each end, did not punch any center holes. Very disappointed. Expecting a replacement tomorrow. Will update once it arrives and is tested.

Good Manual Machine
Disclaimer: I have not yet bothered to use the binder feed (the electric part of the machine that is used to feed the coil through the punched pages). I just manually twisted it through - which works well. I have no iea how well the electric coil feed works, but if it’s anything like the rest of the machine, it’ll be fine. The punch has some nice features that make it possible to have slightly larger covers (top and Bottom) to the interior pages. The punch does cut at least 12 pages at a time. It can handle covers with two layers of cardstock that has been thermo-laminated (so pretty thick). Good cuts. Note: the pitch is a 4:1 ratio (4 holes per inch), so when buying additional coils, make sure you get the correct size coils. I make 1/2 size letter books (5.5x8.5”), and have been very happy with the results. Definitely a good machine.

Great !
Works great. No issues. Takes some trial and error to get a grip on how to put in the wire to squeeze it to a good circle. Just don’t pull down the lever all the way but just stop an inch short of all the way.
