The shoes fit amazing, I ordered an 8 and got exactly that. I am a slimmer built woman and the sandals still fit my thighs well so I definitely recommend!

I would give it 5 stars for style and fit but it is so hard to put on and off that it makes for a frustrating experience. The back zipper is above the heel and leaves NO room to take on and off. It took me a half hour to get them on and same to get them off, I will get stretchy shock cord to replace the laces like the other reviewer suggested, so it gives room for on and off. Shame cause they are super cute!

Very badly designed shoe. There is no way you can slide your foot in. Zipper should have gone all the way down.

I had to buy these shoes twice, because the first pair came with a manufacturing defect that put a permanent twist in the side of one shoe. The returns process was quick and easy, though, and it gave me an opportunity to size up to an 8.5. The size 8 wasn't really too small (I normally wear an 8, and the shoe fit just fine), but I'm wearing the shoes to an outdoor music festival, so I wanted to ensure good coverage on the bottoms of my feet as I'm outside walking around. The shoe style is really cute, but I have to agree with others that taking them on and off is a PAIN. The zipper stops just above the heel, so it's impossible to slip your foot out of the shoe without loosening the laces at the ankle...which means loosening the laces all the way up to the top, too. On top of that, if you don't have stick thin legs, the laces may seem a bit short--especially if you're trying to leave a little wiggle room, as the suede laces have NO stretch. However, I have a tip for those who are lazy like me: I bought a 100-ft spool of 1/8" SGT KNOTS Shock Cord in tan (through Amazon) and replaced the suede laces with it. I cut the shock cord a bit longer than the laces just for aesthetic purposes (I like longer "bows" at the top of the shoe), but since the bungee cord stretches to 180% of its "relaxed" length, it is MUCH easier for me to slip the shoes on and off, and it also helps with avoiding pinching my calves as I zip up the shoes. The color of the cord isn't a perfect match to the suede laces, but it matches the shoe just fine (see the picture for a comparison). I took off one star for having to spend an extra $20 on the cord, but it's definitely worth the added convenience! All in all a good purchase. I haven't worn the shoes outside yet, and I could see myself getting really hot in them, as they still cover up a good bit of your legs and the material isn't very breathable, but I'll update the review after putting them to the test in the hot Vegas weather.

These are for really skinny legged people. My legs are far from fat and I could not get these to fit. They are also extremely hard to loosen up to put your feet into them. Just awful.

I love love they shoes but it is a hassle to put them on and remove them. Give yourself time. You'll eventually figure out a quicker mechanism to putting on and removing the shoe in time. The shoe is true to size. I bought size 9
