If you use Ethernet more than WiFi then this makes it so much easier. I didn’t think I would like this so much. Very strong magnetic connection that just clicks right on tightly. Awesome to use with an iPad as it turns the cable sideways! Also great for charging..Highly recommend.

The reason I took away a star is because my usb c external key didn't work with it - not sure if the issue was with the adapter, or my laptop. It works perfectly on the usb c ports on my theatre chairs.

We use these adapters for my daughter who has C/P. They make it easier for her to be more independent. They work great! Easy to plug in and unplug. So far we’ve had no problems using them on any of our devices.

The magnet is plenty strong, and it did a pretty good job of connecting without too much fiddling, even though my otterbox tried it's best to get in the way. The only downside is longevity. I only made a few hundred connections before it stopped passing data, and started slow charging. I dont see any fouling or corrosion on the contacts, so its either inside, or the contacts are wearing down quickly. I

Not what I needed so I ordered the elbow ones. I'm thinking of keeping these. They have a strong magnet and working like the Mac computer charging cable. Fit perfect and didn't slip out. I don't think the kids can break these they are pretty strong when applying pressure. They latch on fast and stay connected even when moving the device around. The charge speed wasn't slowed down. I think the quality matched the price.

I want to start out by saying this is a great concept and a great design. When new, they fit the USB C port on the mac and the USB C cable well. Unfortunately, after owning them for less than 2 months, they are already falling apart. They are splitting along the seam, which in turn causes them to stop functioning. If there was something that could hold the two sides together as part of the design, this could be an amazing product.
