This light set is so awesome!! It turned out even better than I imagined!! The instructions were straight-forward and easy to follow, and the lights look amazing! I love that it comes with a remote and has several different lighting variatgood. I also love that the little satellite flashes and I found out some if the pieces actually glow-in-the dark!! This set is hanging in my living room and looks so good! My only complaint is that it didn't come with a battery pack, which would make it easier to display (as I don't have a USB plug that high up). Either way, I'm impressed with this set and very satisfied with my purchase.

See edit down below (was 2 stars but I upgraded it to 5 stars for the great customer service). This piece came with a mother board that did not work properly. I’m no expert by any means, but what a debacle. My 10 year old son originally put it together and got frustrated when it wouldn’t work. He’s usually pretty good with that stuff. But then I thought well, he’s 10, so maybe he got some stuff wrong….so, I had him take it all apart so I could take a closer look at stuff. I trouble shot the lights and plugged them in individually and they all worked. The little satellite blinker was fine as well. Then came the motherboard. It only worked in such a way that you could only get it to light one set of the lights and not the rest. It’s clearly defective. So, I decided to try to wire it up with just the use of one. When all was said and done, I got the lights to work, but I had to sacrifice the blinking light for the satellite, because I had run out of room to plug it in after everything else was in. Whatever. When I bought the set, I didn’t even realize it had that, so I don’t care as much.. but when you spend $90 for it all to work, then damnit, it should. I tried talking to a customer rep from Amazon on the chat option, but honestly, I’m just need a replacement motherboard part and I don’t want to go to the trouble of having another set arrive and then having to go and return the other set. So, we’re dealing with it as is. Just disappointed. *edit* so, the company reached out to us and they sent us a replacement remote control and everything works as it’s supposed to now, so I upgraded my 2 star review to 5 stars. Thank you for helping us out! It’s a cute light set!

This was the first lighting kit for Legos that I had ever tried so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised. A little intimidating at first when I saw the very thin wires and tiny connectors, especially because I have fat fumbling fingers. The person demonstrating the process in the video directions on YouTube makes handling those thin wires and tiny connections look so easy, but of course they have probably done it a lot. The instruction video is very detailed step-by-step so it’s easy to follow along and do what you need to do, and of course you can stop or rewind the video whenever you want to make sure you’re doing it right. I was very surprised at the quality of the wires and connectors and lights. I don’t know how those fine tiny components can be so durable and forgiving. I thought I would wind up with at least one broken wire or something, but everything fit properly and worked properly and when you’re all done and plug it in and everything lights up it’s such a great feeling. After I wired the Milky Way galaxy I ordered another kit from the same company for my Notre Dame model and it also went very well. The layout and design of which lights are going to go where has been very well planned and thought out and the end result is well worth the price of the kit. I love this company and I highly recommend their lighting products.

It was easy to install, but I took apart the frame to hide the wires a little and added some more of my own to the mix. Makes for one kind of display by day and another by night. Cheap, too!

Directions are ridiculously unclear. Images do not show which direction to place the lego piece when connecting wires. There is no spare wire to be able to tuck the wires between legos, leaving wires straight over the legos looking very tacky. No paper directions are given.

Wires could be a little longer, then they could be tucked in and not show. But otherwise great!

Really cool, lots of options on the remote to light up how you want it to. There's a video to follow or a PDF version for installation.

10/10 It was super easy to put together and only took 30 minutes. I love that the satellite blinks and that there’s a green light by the “you are here” brick. It looks incredible and I actually like the fact that it plugs into the wall rather than having a battery pack. The remote also has a ton of cool settings.

Fun and looks amazing but so hard to hide the wires effectively but the lights fit perfectly on the legos
