Fantastic knives easy to clean very nice handles not to heavy to use nice & sharp

These knives are quite expensive but totally worth it. They look exceptional and are razor sharp. A good excuse to eat more steak!

After seeing plenty of almost sharp and rather flimsy steak knives in our time we wanted something of quality. Our required characteristics solid in the hand, heavy and razor sharp. These fulfilled those three requirements very well, they sit nicely in the hand, the weight and bulk in the handle for good, the blade thicker than the average and NOT flimsy.

Great knifes need no effort in cutting meet I so recommend them

An excellent quality knife made of aledgedly Japanese steel that was made in China in a box with what I'm pretty sure is Korean writing :) . Don't get me wrong the quality of the steel is top notch giving it a highly durable blade that keeps it edge and the 15% chromium stops the steel from corrosion. The things are so sharp and the grip is so smooth, using it with a damp hand gives me the willies. My hopes were low expecting some nice looking but cheap steak knives I'd discard after a year, now I'm considering getting the complete knife set, and the price is quite reasonable for proper Chef quality knives.

I was very disappointed that these “Japanese” knives are made in China. I almost returned them based on the misleading description, however I needed them for dinner that evening and did not want to go without. Despite their country of origin, these knives are exceptional. Excellent weight and balance. They were package well with the blades protected. They are very sharp and seem to be quite well designed. Excellent size for steak knives. I just wish they were made in Japan as the product description indicates.

These knives look modern and are extremely sharp cut through steaks perfectly. The reason for the reduced number of stars is that the back edge of the handle is sharp both on the inside where the wood joins to the metal) and the outside (very top edge) where it cut into my hand. Not major but uncomfortable. I am in the process of filing each of the knife handles to round off the top edge and eliminate the catches on the underside. Didn't return them as i felt i could deal with the matter quickly and simply.

Lovely set of steak knives, bought when reduced in price, can be a little pricey at full price.

Conforme à mes attentes ,bon tranchant mais pas exceptionnel comme le dit l'annonce sur le site. Soit disant coupe lame de rasoir !! Non faut pas exagérer non plus et c'est des couteaux qui ne doivent pas passer en machine à laver. Ca reste un bon compromis entre les bons couteaux japonais qui coutent une blinde.
