This kicks out an almighty stink, a really strong and unpleasant smell that's still present months after unwrapping it. Rather handy for redirecting water that has been freed from it's copper prison but the stink almost offsets the value, I'd almost rather just let the water spray everywhere and redecorate to avoid the smell and the accusatory glances.

I also own the original Made in USA Form-A-Funnel. This is a poor imitation –– plasticky slippery rubber coated rather than supple and grippy nitrile coated, and the sheet metal internal element is much less pliable and bends much less smoothly. As many other reviewers have noted, it arrived smelling horrible (reeking of cigarette smoke and chemicals, presumably exactly the way their Chinese factory smells). That said, the smell does dissipate if you leave it out in the sun for about a week. It still doesn't smell great but it no longer makes me choke. Note that before I aired it outside, I tried to air it out in my second bedroom. The smell of the funnel remained in that room for several weeks so I would not recommend trying to air it out indoors!

I saw one of these on a youtube plumbing channel, decided to try it. How on earth did i manage before. This thing is the most ingenious idea ever. Absolute must when changing rads or draining down. So clever, easy to use. Best money i ever spent, and for those put off by the smell, mine does not smell of anything. Cant quite see where people are coming from with those comments. Treat yourself.
