So good... i bought 3 sets!
I just LOVE these saucepans. When i first left home 15 year ago i bought this make from a well known high street retailer. Im useless at draining saucepans so the fact the drainer in these is built in is just marvellous! So easy to use. I've burnt the bottoms of all of the a few times (not that im a bad cook- just sometimes things catch dont they) and i havent to say they scrub up good as new every time. So when my mum got her indiction hob she needed another set of pans as her current ones dont work on induction so i bought her these and she loved them. So last month i bought ANOTHER set to keep on my boat. Love them. Such great quality and a ridiculously low price!

Great Product & Induction Compatible.
This set replaced another, similar 17 year old Judge Vista set, which was still ok, but not Induction compatible. In terms of customer service, I can't commend this manufacturer (Horwood) enough as they are fantastic, should you encounter a problem with any of the items within the 25 Year! warranty. Set contains: You will receive 3 saucepans - 14, 16 and 18cm in diameter and 3 lids, with a deep lip, perforated on opposing sides, with small holes on one side (for draining spaghetti etc.) and a set of larger holes on the other (for quick draining of potatoes etc.). The outside of each of the pots is finished in polished stainless steel and the inside has as brushed finish with markings to how much liquid is inside the pot (imperial & metric). Cleaning: A soft sponge with a plastic scouring side is enough to clean these, even if food is burned into them. Some washing up liquid and a soak is all you need in case you got distracted. Getting used to induction, it happened to us and we've boiled a Sautee pan dry (not part of this set), leaving it pitch black but it cleaned up just fine.

Excellent Pans
Really nice pans and well worth the price. I replaced my "student pans" with these big boy pans and they are really great. Decent weight and they feel well made. The lids are solid and have a handy vent bit built in so you can drain liquids from the pan while keeping the lid on. Easy to clean. Would definitely buy these again.

Not very versatile
I wish I liked these better but there are problems with them for me. They are good to cook things in water that will then need draining, eg vegetables. Cooking anything like casserole or stewing fruit, they burn it. When the stewed fruit burned on mine, I had to soak it in laundry detergent, then chip it off with a knife, as I was not able to get it off with anything less. The smaller base means things take longer to heat up, although once they have heated, they retain the heat well (which may be why there is a burning problem though) The design of the lip means that even with the drain holes to the side, steam escapes so things dry out. Also you can't prepare something to cook later and leave it in there if flies are around as they will get into the pans. I prefer my old hard anodised pans for most cooking because of those reasons stated above.

Good all round pans
Good solid pans. They appear smaller than my old ones but are the same capacity - they're taller rather than wider. This actually means the largest can be used on a smaller ring potentially saving you money. The largest isn't really big enough to use as a 'potato' pan when I have all the family over so I'll probably need to order a bigger one! The drainer holes are a handy feature saving you the bother of getting out the colander or risking losing half the pan contents down the sink when draining in the 'old fashioned' way of tilting the lid! I found them easy to clean & not too heavy.

Great set of Pots!
I have used Judge Vista pots before so I expected high quality and was not disappointed. They are heavy and strong, a good range of sizes. The draining feature is great - I don't burn my hands on steam any more! The measuring guages inside toe pots are a really clever and handy addition too. A great buy.

The pans are brilliant. Narrow but deep
The pans are brilliant. Narrow but deep, and with the easy pour rim it makes it so easy to use. The lids have two different sized drain holes. Small onside and larger the other side. This means whether you're draining the potatoes, or rice you don't fill your sink with dinner. So much easier than holding a standard lid slightly to one side. I have even brought one of the larger pans separately for big family dinners.

Most of the reviews for these were great, so I thought I'd take a chance - ...
I was looking for stainless steel pans to replace some non-stick ones that no longer were (especially after reading that flaking non-stick is cancer forming!) and Prestige no longer do the copper bottomed ones that I received as wedding presents almost 40 years ago and still going strong. Most of the reviews for these were great, so I thought I'd take a chance - they are excellent pans and the draining lids are really useful. I look forward to using them for many years to come.
