Took my old Steam deck 64gb m2230 card out and placed it in the enclosure. Much cheaper than buying a USB drive and also much faster. Worked as promised and simple to add the drive. Now lives in my bag for quick extra storage.

Great shell to make my old M2 drive into an external SSD. Portable and widely compatible due to the inbuilt USB c cable. Doesn't seem to get hot at all during use. Easy to fit the drive into and seems very sturdy. Wouldn't be worries about this breaking. All in all, works great!

In short - this thing rocks! I bought this to house a 'drive' taken from a STEAM deck as I was upgrading. The fitting of the drive into this caddy is the essence of simplicity. At present, I do not have the speed tests I did for the drive and the drive is on loan to s mate. I do remember looking up the statistics of the drive and the caddy and comparing to my actual results. The results I got were very slightly better than expected. My friend says he is very happily running a mmorpg from the drive - but only doing so temporarily until he gets a new PC more powerful and with good storage. Personally I was using the device for asset back-up while doing some amatuer video work, had no issues and found it easy to transfer files between computers with the device [a tempory fix while I waited for my new NAS]. I have advised a few people upgrading STEAM deck to use this device whilst doing so and afterwards for general storage that can [configured properly] be used to transfer files between laptops, PCs or STEAM decks for example. As caddies go this one has proved excellent [and I have used many 'caddies' in my years of PC maintenace etc].

Great and easy to use and install.

Had a spare 22330 NVMe after upgrading the ROG Ally, so figured I might as well use it as an external ssd. I didn't want to get a full caddy, so this was a great alternative - it's light and the right screwdriver was included. Formatted to exFAT the drive works with both Windows and MacOS (plug and play, after formatting obviously). *Possible con* Note the cable is fixed and quite rigid - while you aren't going to misplace it, you will need to account for the lack of rigidity. For a backpack, I would recommend a pocket that is at least twice the length of the drive itself as to not damage the drive.

Works perfect. I was sceptical that it would be "that simple" to use and add all that data to my iPhone. But the memory was installed in seconds and simply plug into phone and use for files or for ProRes Videos 👍🏻

This is a nice solution when transferring all data from an original drive to a new M.2 2230 PCIe NVMe SSD. USB-C connection ensures that you get the best throughput rates. But there's a problem. I was changing out the original M.2 SSD on a surface laptop 3 and found that the original MS drive would not fit in this casing after it had been removed (the Crucial upgrade was just fine). The original drive is too "fat" meaning that the location clamp would not fit easily in place and the drive width would not let the cover go back on without force.

ho trovato il case molto utile, dalle foto non sembrava ma tutto il corpo è in alluminio, all'interno la tenuta dell'ssd è affidato ad un piccolo fermo in plastica che ruota e tiene bloccato in posizione, avrei preferito una vite visto che in ogni caso c'è bisogno del cacciavite per aprire lo sportellino che copre il vano ssd, in ogni caso ottimo prodotto ha superato le mie aspettative, c'è anche un piccolo pezzettino di pad termico per aiutare a dissipare il calore generato dall'ssd stesso trasferendolo a tutto il corpo in alluminio.

Très pratique, faible encombrement. Permet des sauvegardes rapides, dès qu'une m2 est installée.
