Its sand. Its black and sparkly. its great. Its expensive for the quantity considering its just sand. Does the job in an incense stick holder.

As described and arrived on time

This sand is very finely ground, and won't be fit for a lot of purposes. For example, it's too fine for aquariums, but then it's not sold as aquarium sand. I use it for my art, adding texture to my paint, and also as a base for incense charcoal. It is very, very white, and is more finely ground than sable salt. I am very pleased with it, although it is a bit expensive for how much you get. I hope you found these comments helpful :)

Ordered some to replace the sand in my Zen garden. It is a little finer than the original sand but it's a perfectly fine alternative. Two bags was just the right amount too.

Just what I need for my crafts

I actually only bought this because I needed to make a very small sand weight, and this was the cheapest, quickest, and easiest way I could find to get hold of 200g of sand. Very pretty though, and great value for money, especially if you are actually using it for crafts!
