Helps define curls
I have to admit, it took watching an influencer video before I understood how to use this brush. At first, I was only using the bristles, which are soft and good for not pulling out a lot of hair. I was satisfied with it as a nice paddle brush for detangling, but I wasn't sure how to use the scalloped edges. This influencer carefully parted her hair with the pointed handle and clipped it into small, neat sections before applying gobs of product and slowly combing it through each section with the ridged side of the brush, chatting perkily the entire time. I don't have the patience for all that. I just grabbed each small section of wet hair with my fingers, applied some of the gel I've been using, then dragged the brush ridges through it. My hair is thick and coils up in the back with no special effort, but he front tends to separate into small, random pieces of independent strands (in other words, frizz), especially now that it's gone gray. If I use enough product and I'm lucky, it'll give me curls that last through the next day, but the day after that, it's moss. When I refresh it, it's a roll of the dice whether it'll make curls or just more messy frizz. The benefit of this brush was instantly visible. After one pass with the ridges, my wet hair came together into cohesive clumps, which later dried into actual curls that last. I've attached a photo of how it still looks today (Friday), after washing and sleeping on it Wednesday night (no bonnet), refreshing it yesterday (Thursday) morning (spray with water, apply a bit more gel, then comb through with the ridges), getting it almost entirely wet in the shower last night and sleeping on it again without a bonnet. The area I'm sharing with you in the photo l is the worst section of my hair. Usually, it would be a mess of pure frizz by this point, yet you can still see defined curls--and I haven't even touched it yet, let alone refreshed it. So, yes, I'd say this brush works well, at least on my hair. I can't say whether you'll get the same results, but it's well worth a try at the price!

Love this brush!
I was wanting to try this brush but the higher price points kept me away. I found this one at a cheaper price and oh man, has it changed my curls! This brush is amazing. It’s actually worth the higher price as well, but this cheaper version works great for me.

THIS is a brush worthy of FIRST place, in my collection!
I have thick , past my shoulder length, wavy 2c/3a graying hair. I purchased this brush as a more affordable alternative to another brand that should remain nameless. What I got, that I had not expected was a great brush for a blow out straightening . My hair was extremely soft, and had shine!!! I had used the exact same products on my hair as always, so I believe it is the magic of the brush. The body of the brush is a nice size, a little bit smaller than a paddle brush, and maybe that’s what made it easy to manipulate during the blowout process. My hand didn’t get tired, I didn’t keep dropping the brush, and it looks very well made… QUALITY! The edge fingers may or may not have helped keep it de tangled, I don’t know. The real magic, I believe, are the mixture of bristles… they are “ just right”. I deem this the best brush!!! That says a lot coming from a hair girly, with multiple brushes in her hairstyle collection.

Curl Defining Hair Brush
High quality and detangles the hair well. The spaces for the curl defining part are quite large. I'll have to get used to using this brush for curl defining since it's my first time trying a brush like this. If your hair has tight coils, a brush with less space in the curl defining parts might be better.

Love this brush!
So I'm loving this brush. It really does make your curls pop! The biggest difference is the amount of shrinkage from air drying. The curls really coil up and I get about a 50% shrink rate. It looks much healthier than the scraggly mess of air drying without using it (Pic in red shirt). I'm going to keep experimenting with products and will try diffuser drying it too. The price for this brush was less than $15 and it was 100% worth it. A total dupe for the original. I still may buy the OG to support its creator now that I know it actually works. But yeah, this is a really good value and a product that will make you love your curls. Everyone is getting one for Christmas in my fam.

I didn’t know I had curly hair until this brush!
I mean, do I have curly/wavy/frizzy/unmanageable hair, yes. But defined really curly curly and healthy looking hair, never before. Brushes usually make my hair worse so I was reluctant at first. But they truly weirdly separate your hair and jump start your curl routine really nicely! I haven’t used them on dry hair and I wouldn’t. For best and most defined curls, apply conditioner to wet hair, use this brush, rinse your hair and don’t brush or comb hair at all until the next time you wash your hair. Put in your desired product(s), scrunch with hands, diffuse if I have time, and voila!

Not for me
It makes my curly hair straight. Even my hair cutter was shocked

Great dupe for the pricey original
My 14-year-old loves this brush just as much as the popular high-end version, and I love that I didn’t have to spend all that money. The pink color is adorable and fits her personality perfectly. It’s been holding up really well with regular use for months now and still looks brand new. The bristles glide through her curls easily and help define them without causing frizz or pulling. It’s lightweight, easy to clean, and works just as well as brushes three times the price. I’ve even tried it myself a few times and was impressed with how smooth it makes the hair look after styling. Overall, this is a fantastic affordable alternative that actually performs. Definitely worth it if you or your teen have curly or wavy hair and want a reliable, cute brush that delivers professional-looking results.
