This pack of two adjustable car tethers for dogs work great for our smaller dogs. One dog is 12 pounds, one is 8 pounds. The back seat of our car has their two small dog beds, and we just attach one tether to each dogs harness, one tether per dog. We have the tethers fully extended (I believe it states 31” or so), and it’s just the right amount of length to allow the dogs a bit of movement without being too constrictive for longer car rides. It’s a huge relief to know our dogs are safely attached while in our car. The “snap in” attachment that goes around the backseat headrest is adjustable also, but we really didn’t have to adjust it too much. Very simple to adjust and snap into place. The tethers appear to very sturdy, and great quality, and I’m very happy with the purchase. I purchased the 2-pack in black.

This product is so easy to use. You just clip the strap around your head rest and it’s secure. I have BIG dogs (I’m talking 100 lbs each) and unfortunately I’ve had times where I’ve had to slam on the brakes with them in the car. Luckily, these bad boys held my babies nice and secure. The leash itself is not stretchy at all so it’s very sturdy, but it is adjustable if you want them to have more room to roam or be held more securely. I HIGHLY recommend this product. It’s best used with a harness so your baby can’t choke.

I leashed my 36 pound mini goldendoodle into the headrest seat belt for the first time today. It worked great! I had tried the other type that you have to connect through the seat belt strap and had problems trying to get my squirming dog out of it. The headrest seat belt was easy to install and I was able to unleash him with no problem. There are 2 belts in the package and I connected both belts to both of the back seat headrests, only because I didn't want to be moving one belt depending on which side of car I put him in during inclement weather. As far as durability I gave it 4 stars because I only used the belt for 1 day so don't really know but they seem pretty strong and being nylon belting should hold up well. Happy with my purchase!

The only reason I gave this a 4 star rating is because I have not yet had an opportunity to use the seatbelt staps (you receive 2 and I have 2 dogs). It is very easy to install and appears it will work to keep the dogs from moving while giving them enough "room" to sit or lie down. The strap is adjustable in length and fits right over the rear head rests. I also purchased and back seat cover that works as a hammock (or the part that attaches to the front seat head rests can be left down as just a seat cover) for extra safety. The seat belt restraints attach easily to the dogs harness and can be moved with ease from my car to my husband's. I am sure I would give it a 5 star rating once I see it "in action." Very good product!

When I got my mini labradoodle I was letting him ride on my lap. I knew I needed a better way of keeping him safe in the back seat. This seat belt loops around the headrest in my VW beetle and clips to his harness. He just lays right down and is safe when we go for an adventure! There is also an extra for my husbands Chevy Equinox. It comes with 2 belts. Great product, easy to use.

This is a great product. It keeps my dogs safely in the back seat without allowing them to move around too much. They can stick their heads out the window and I don't have to worry about them falling out and it keeps them in the back seat, away from the driver and front passenger. It durable and easy to use. When not in use, I just keep the strap around the headrests and flip the single strap around to the rear. Super simple design, but it's really all you need.

The URPOWER dog seatbelt restraint was exactly what I was looking for. It fits around the head restraints to secure the dog in the seat. I use it as an additional point of restraint since I already use another that fits into the seatbelt. I find that the 2 point system is best for pups who tend to get a little rambunctious when riding. The URPOWER restraint used alone is also good for dogs who like to stand and enjoy the view & the breeze blowing while riding. The dog remains securely tethered while the car is in motion. It also reduces the risk that the dog will attempt to “escape” as you open the door...very handy for a high-spirited animal! The restraint is sturdy, well-made & reliably functional at a price point that makes it affordable for most pet parents.

These safety straps go around the headrest in the vehicle. They are meant to be used with a dog harness to keep your dog safe and to keep them from wondering all over the back seat. They work as they are supposed to and are adjustable to the height of your dog.

Great fitting harness, easily secures to your headrest. This is a great product would recommend to anyone wanting to keep their dogs safe.

Was very excited about this product as we wanted to stop using the crate for our puppy in car rides. Pros: Loved that it straps to the headrest as we read reviews of the seatbelt clip version breaking. Easy to use: strap to headrest, adjust length, clip to harness. Can’t get easier than that. Turns out our puppy (now a 40lb, 7.5 month old doodle) doesn’t move much during the car rides. But it still gave us a peace of mind knowing she couldn’t jump out of the window or off her assigned seating. Only time she pulls is when we’re parked and she’s anxious to get out after the rest of us are no longer in the car. Cons: after approximately 5 uses on rather short rides, the ring has been pulled apart. The nylon straps are still intact. Would not recommend for this reason alone. I will likely fix both my broken one and the intact one with a sturdier ring and eventually may replace the clip as well.

I install it over the back headrest & attach it to my dog's 🐕 harness. Very easy to use, not a great deal of stretch, peace of mind, legal but I sometimes forget my dog is attached, I call her out of the car & she can't move!!

Great concept and easy to install, but the o-ring was basically ripped apart on the first car ride, by my 1year old Belgian Malinois.
