1/4" Air Chuck Open Flow Straight Tire Chuck with Lock-on Clip Brass

This locking tire inflator chuck worked great with my old Coleman Inflator Pump! It was easy to install in my pump’s 1/4” ID rubber hose and the clamp fits tight. I just inflated my truck tires to 32 psi. and it worked great. No leaks and it locked well onto the tire nozzle threads.

Really like the quality and the fact that it’s made of excellent metals for strength and longevity. The old chuck wore out with relatively very little use because of the aluminum parts. See the photo of the old style where it wore out prematurely. Was easy to replace the old for this new replacement air chuck and it fit like a glove. This style of chuck is an improved design over the old one. Comes as a two pack so the extra will go on the other pump I have that also needs updating. Great price and value, BRAVO!

There are 2 air chucks with 2 clamps per order. Price is good (read that cheap!) and nozzle barb able to hold on to valve stem well enough. If air hose is wiggled, the rubber seal inside the air chuck won’t hold and will leak. Since the hose clamp is bulky and sharp, we used marine shrink tubing to wrap it for more comfortable hold. There are other manufacturers (Lock N Flate, Jaco, Jinky, Astro, etc) who made better chucks but none sell 1/4” barb fittings to allow you to adapt to your old but working air compressor.
