Decent soundbar, but needs 2.4GHz wi-fi to work fully
Decent soundbar, but there is an important detail that Samsung don't highlight: the wi-fi only is only promised to work over a 2.4GHz network. If your network is 5GHz, which most modern ones are, you may need to supplement it with a 2.4GHz router such as this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001FWYGJS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Not for the audiophile in you
There is no display on the bar apart from different colour LED so you can only tell what mode you are in by the voice prompts which can be extremely loud or quiet. Sound is reasonably good but again not sure if Dolby atmos is on/ working cause even the voice prompt omits this mode. Does enhance the sound from the tv with q- symphony feature but nowhere near a surround sound system quality. It sometimes goes out of voice sync with the tv and you need to negotiate the tv menu to adjust. Fits perfectly between the legs of my QF8 Samsung tv. If your looking for a cinematic experience this is not for you if you just want to improve tv sound and hear voices more clearly this is a decent purchase

Great sound
Product looks great, size can be deceiving! massively amplifies the sound output from my Samsung TV, I feel like I'm in a cinema whenever I watch the TV now easy set up, simple to operate, banging sound! works as a Bluetooth speaker for my iPhone also which is an additional bonus.

Just get it, you won’t be disappointed
This is our third soundbar for our Samsung smart tv, and is far and away the best we have had. Just plug it in and away it goes. Hubby is quite particular about what he listens to and this exceeds his expectations. Even me who has never bothered much about sound quality (it’s just a noise after all!) now appreciates what I am listening to.

I've paired it with a Samsung 75" Q7F TV, and I am very pleased with this combination. * It was EASY to set up and pair with the TV. I literally connected it to the TV, plugged it into the power, and it connected to tv automatically * The Q-Symphony is wonderful and it gives added depth to whatever we are hearing. * As I age, hearing voices and dialog is becoming increasingly difficult. But the adaptive sound makes dialog very easy to understand. * Sound is quite good, although an audiophile would probably find it somewhat lacking. But as a causal TV viewer, and a casual music listener, it is more than adequate for me. * I would say the sound is roughly equivalent to my Edifer under $200 bookshelf speakers, but it uses the Samsung TV speakers to add an additional presence in the sound. Bass is good, and while what I hear isn't top shelf, what I hear is quite good for the money. The midtones and the higher tones are crisp and clear. The sound is NOT audiophile quality, but it is still very good. * I can control the Sound bar from the TV remote almost completely. Very useful. The only negative I've encountered is I am having trouble connecting my WIIM bluetooth streamer to the combination. WIIM only offers a wired connection to to the receiving device like a stereo or TV, and neither the TV nor the soundbar offer a 3.5 mm aux in socket. I will continue to look for a solution, I refuse to believe it can't be done. For users of non-Samsung TVs, it will give you a good mid-tier soundbar experience. But the S60D really steps up the game when it connects to a Q series Samsung TV. All the 'special' stuff this soundbar offers can only be used with a Q series TV set. I would likely have to spend more money on a soundbar for a non Samsung TV to get the same level of performance I am receiving with a Q Series pair up. It offers excellent value for the Q series TV owner. I am happy with my purchase and I can recommend it to others.

Purchased for a small bedroom to go with a 2015 Samsung QN90 television due to the supposed benefit between the two. The vocals are clear and bright and the midrange is solid for a small soundbar. It gets plenty loud but it severely lacks in any action scene and in bass. Trying to find the additional sub woofer to see if it will help. I do not notice any room correction after setting it to run and the different settings don’t seem to do much in terms of sound. It was easy to setup and WiFi worked fairly well with only an occasional drop of signal and a minimal delay which could probably be removed by adjusting settings. eArc connection had the best overall performance to my ears. In all fairness the TV was just released and not in stores at the time. Possible updates could change the overall experience. I’d suggest reading the reviews before purchasing. For now my older unit (S***s) sounded much better, even if not as advanced as the Samsung.

Was skeptical at first, but now I'm convinced that this is almost a must-have accesory for the 43inch TV that despite all the technology, it has only 2 real speakers, and the other 2 are virtual or wave-guide at the top of the cabinet . The sound of my new Samsung 2024 43" Neo QED was a little thin in the mids and highs, almost to the point of strident at times. The larger Samsung TVs in the series have 8 speakers. So I bought 2 apple mini HomePods, connected to my apple TV 4K, and a heard big improvement in tonality, lows, mids and highs. A forum reviewer I read said this set-up gets you 80% of what a soundbar gives you at this price point. So I hesitated to buy the soundbar after already purchasing the mini-home pods. While the HomePod's sound was richer over the native TV speakers, voice clarity, tonality and separation from the other sounds, music and bass, was still making dialogue hard to understand, at times, forcing me to turn -up the volume, to attempt to hear the dialogue better. This increased volume overemphasized the bass, even with "less bass" selected in the HomePod settings. Bring on the Q-symphony S-series sound bar. the sound is not like a large home theater set-up, but the sound is still quite a revelation! Vocal sounds are clear and with good tonality, and exceptionally clear. And then movie sounds come in with nice separation and emphasis, across the frequency spectrum in a very 3-dimensional manner, similar to how a home theatre setup would render the sound, but with a little less drama. NOTES on Set-up of the Samsung Soundbar when connecting to the newer Samsung TV: I originally set the soundbar up over wifi, but then it would not turn on automatically with my apple TV. I found out auto-on of the soundbar with the TV, is only when connected either optically or via HDMI. I redid the connection over "HDMI out to e-arc in on the TV." Now the Soundbar turns on with the TV. I installed the soundbar with the Samsung "My Home Smart Things App" (easy), and then in the TV audio settings I have Q-Symphony set-up to use both the sound bar and TV speakers in synch. Also I have adaptive sound selected or turned on which allows Samsung's AI, to tailor the frequency response and synchronization of all speakers, to the content being played to maintain a balanced sound appropriate to the media genre. Over 1/2 of our listening to the TV in the kitchen is news programing, and the addition of the soundbar is a game changer with our wonderful, Samsung 43" QN90D Neo QLED 4K TV 2024. Picture shows the Soundbar directly below and in front of the TV on a corner shelf.
