I used these to make a watered out of pvc pipe attached to a 55 gallon drum. I could not use the nuts that were included to secure from the back, but heating up the pvc and using plumbers tape. They don’t leak and work perfectly.

Works as advertised. Used them on a big 32 gallon trash can and havent had to refill my chickens water in days. On warmer days I'll keep the water level lower and fill it with cold water though. Absolutely love that it comes with the right size drill bit. Other people have said they had to use silicone to get a water tight seal but I didn't have that issue. No leaks on any of them even with the can filled up.

The media could not be loaded. My babies love these!!! So much easier for them to use and so easy to keep it clean as long as it is up off if the ground. I do reccomend using Teflon tape to seal the threads.Finally a product that makes chicken keeping so much easier, healthier and cleaner

We used these on a rain barrel. Now the chickens are watered from rain catchment

Super easy to install and makes the water supply lasts much longer than a traditional poultry water container. My only tip would be to install them a little higher than the bottom of the bucket so you can place the bucket on the ground without bending the hardware/cups.

The media could not be loaded. I have used all sorts of chicken waterers and decided to give these a try. It has been good so far but truthfully it has only been 24 hours, so we shall see.My farm is big on automation, all animals have large tanks/troughs for water but the chicken water kept freezing and creating issues; temporarily I used heated 2 gallon buckets that were a hassle and waste of water to fill and clean out every day.As you see in the video,(yes, accidentally put the bulkhead unions backwards) I used bulkhead unions screwed through a 55 gallon drum.REASON FOR 4 star review is due to the fact there was absolutely no mention of the size for the water up male.HERE: I’ll save you the trouble that I went through trying to find the right fittings.The screw in size of the water cup is 1/8”.I used a 1/2” union with a 1/2” male to 1/8” female adapter. Definitely use sealant to help with leaks. Some people have these issues and should just use some sealant.Again, only have had these waterers for a day but I have ducks as well and most poultry waterers don’t have a good size cup to accommodate the beaks.The value for the pack and functionality/ design was a huge reason for the purchase. It’s easy to assemble with minimal time used.

These are good quality sturdy and durable. Very easy to install. Performs well without leaking. Good value.
