Just got this recently so I can attest to the longevity but it seems very durable. Having been in the military for decades and deployed overseas several times I've gone through several tactical lights. Most flashlights you see are not actually tactical lights in the truest sense in my opinion. A true tactical light has a momentary light touch to quickly illuminate or full press to turn on/off. They have to have the ability to zoom out and in, have the "jagged" end to keep from rolling, a clip for putting on the molle system, etc. There are tons of "tactical style" lights on Amazon and this is one of them (due to the off or on function only) but having said that, this light packs one hell of a punch. It illuminates several yards in front and does it very brightly. It also doesn't have that dark halo ring around the edge like a lot of lights do so I like that. The side light is good for short range light flooding of the immediate area. And since I use this for walking my dogs I really like the red & red/blue strobe for visibility. This is now my go to light unless I need long distance lighting and I have lights for that. I am reviewing the stubby light not the longer, telescoping one.

I like this AIERSEN mini flashlight. It is impressively bright for its size, with a wide beam that gives great peripheral visibility. I love the compact, durable design—it’s survived drops on concrete with just minor scratches. Feels like it’s good quality. Not 9k lumens, but very bright. Magnet isn’t that great. Battery life is good for what it is. It has a secret feature that isn’t advertised. I highly recommend to anyone who is concerned about safety.

This is a great light. It is competitively priced and is a nice size for pocket carry in men's jeans. Pros: Quite bright, with a nice balance between distance and width. It has a wide enough beam to provide good peripheral visibility. Durable. I have already dropped it several times on concrete and other than a few scratches it works like a champ. The end of the flashlight, near the bezel, is flattened on several sides so the light won't easily roll around. This is a nice detail. The lens and the glass is recessed which is nice as it won't scratch or become damaged as easily. Cons: I wish there was a way to possibly program the light to go High > Low > Strobe by single, double, and triple tapping. Currently, it is setup as High > Strobe > Low, and I find that I have to press it up against my clothing while actuating because the strobe function will turn on momentarily while switching to low which can be blinding. *Edit: While charging the flashlight started sparking and caught on fire. Thankfully I was right there when it happened, otherwise it could have been a disaster.

As an unabashed flashlight person, and someone who appreciates small and effective, this is an absolutely wonderful surprise. It's eight great tomatoes in that itty bitty can! Solidly constructed, every function of a larger light, 2-5 hours run time (untested at this point), great beam, and side light. And you get two for the price.

It’s bright but the battery is horrible. I bought it for work, to have something compact and bright but it won’t even last a full shift. Definitely will need a car charger if your thinking of using it on a daily basis.
