Works out of the box
purchased this as a replacement for bose v35 my original remote broke and became completely unusable. This unit costs about one-quarter of the price of the original, and it gets the job done perfectly in terms of functionality. Worked out of the box which was critical to me as v35 has limited menu navigation without remote. The build quality is noticeably inferior compared to the original remote
