Philips Norelco Shaver 1100, with Comfort Cut Blades & 4D Flex Heads (Corded Use Only), S1016/90

For anyone who has bought an electric shaver and after a year or two it now dies in 5 minutes (Braun 7 series 👀) and instead wants a corded one you have come to the right place. This shaver being pretty much the only corded option out there, I can say having used it, it works great after a year or two replace the blades as on all shavers. Important note it comes with a US power (two blades) so you will need to buy an adapter. Search the following: 2 PIN EU Philips HQ8505 AC/DC Adaptor Charger for Philips you can see both in my photo. Other than that I can’t recommend this highly enough for anyone who wants a shaver that is corded and therefore never dies!

If works perfectly well, I see some reviews saying its not any good but I've not experienced any problems. It gives a close shave in little time. Some people say the 2 pin plug isn't any good because it doesn't fit UK plug sockets, but all you need it's a shaver adaptor, as most shavers require this. All in all I'm satisfied with my purchase.

What can I say ,bought it for the brother-in-law, he has a tough beard bought him a battery one but it could not hack it , so I looked at it like i did with my lawn mower a electric one has .ore power than a battery one so got him one that run off the mains and it's doing the job and brother-in-law is happy

This shaver comes with a power lead that the mains power end is unusable because of the large plat type of plug that is fitted. To use it needs 3 adapters in order to plug into my standard shaver socket. It's either cut the plug off (which will undoubtedly result in the warranty becoming invalid, or use an old lead from an old shaver. If this item is sold in the UK (where I live and where it was posted to) it should have a UK compatible plug. This is the third time I have written this email with similar comments. I bought the Philips Norelco Shaver 1100 Series for my son as he started his shaving journey, and it turned out to be a great first razor. It’s very easy to use, making it perfect for someone learning to shave for the first time. The speed is good, and the shave quality worked well for his needs. He said it felt comfortable to use and didn’t cause irritation. The battery life also holds up well, lasting until it’s time to recharge again. What made it even better was that it turned into a nice father-and-son bonding moment while he learned how to shave properly. Overall, a solid and beginner-friendly electric shaver that worked well for us.

Bought this for use in Australia. It’s a little low powered, but shaves pretty well. However, it came with a US plug, not a USB plug as claimed on the list. I had an old Phillips plug that worked, so I kept it. But otherwise buying you’d need an adaptor if you want to use this.
