I was involved in a serious car accident over 40 years ago that's left me with back problems. Over the years I've got pretty good at knowing what triggers it but about 10 days ago it went again. A bit like sciatica, lower back pain radiating into my hip and down my leg. I have an almost new, (usually) very comfortable, firm mattress but this time the pain was intense and it felt like I was lying on concrete. In desperation I looked for something to provide some additional padding and bought this mattress topper. I honestly thought it would be useless but I was hurting so much I was willing to try anything. It arrived the following day (thank you Prime), the topper was compressed into a smallish box but I opened it up and almost immediately it puffed up to the promised 7 cm thickness. It's firm but not hard and kind of cradles you. You can feel your "heavy" bits sinking into it but not so much that the foam flattens, if that makes sense. No nasty chemical smell either. The quality of the materials seems good quality too. I'm very impressed, the only downside is that it's raised the height of the bed so my very elderly, arthritic Jack Russell can't get on the bed without assistance, I just pick the little lump up so all's good 😀. If you have a nasty thin mattress that really needs to be binned, it probably will make it less uncomfortable but nothing will fix it apart from a new one. If your back hurts and you need some additional padding/support I can't recommend it highly enough. My pain is receding and I'm able to get some sleep, definitely worth the money for me.

I had been pondering a new mattress for the last few months to replace our old tired one which had become uncomfortable, causing some sleep issues. Not quite ready to commit, and with other expenses on the horizon I decided to look into a good quality topper instead, hoping it would provide a more cost effective route to comfort. After weeks of research I settled in the Bonvia (king size) and I couldn't be happier with my choice. It came in a manageable box with the topper well rolled and wrapped in protective film. The included tool made it easy to unpack without risk of damaging the product. Once laid out I left it to expand and settle for 48 hours which also gave the product time to breathe and allow any smells to dissipate. The straps that go over the mattress are well made and adjustable for a good fit. The cover is soft on top and grips well on the bottom. The cover zip seems of decent quality. I tried the soft side first for 2 weeks which was great for my wife, but a little soft for me. We decided to change to the firmer side for a couple of weeks to compare. The process was simple and instructions are provided. The 'firm' side is not firm, but it's noticeably firmer than the soft side. After several weeks of sleeps I can say with confidence that this topper has made a HUGE difference to the quality of my sleep. It's soft but not too soft, no smells, no annoying noises, successfully covers up the uncomfortable old mattress underneath, fits well, doesn't move around and is much less expensive than shelling out for a new mattress. I would recommend to anyone in a similar situation to myself. Excellent product.

This review relates to the Bonnvia mattress topper 7cm Standard support (not the extra firm version). So far, so good. Have used this for about a month now and it has done a good job in making my bed much more comfy and thereby relieving my bad back during the night. It was delivered in a box the size and weight of which meant I could easily manage to move along the floor into the bedroom. It was simple to unpack using the cutter provided to open the plastic wrapper. I have no large floorspace so I did all this on the bed. I then laid out the topper to expand before use. The recommended time was stated as 48 hours, which I adhered to. I had a sofa bed to sleep on for those 2 nights, so it wasn't inconvenient. Customers who have other spaces or spare bedrooms could of course lay out the topper there. When the topper had fully expanded it fitted well on the mattress, was true to the 7cm depth advertised, and the description of the removable zip off cover was also accurate. The topper is advertised as memory foam but I do not know how this could be verified. However, it consists of 2 layers and these can be interchanged to provide 2 separate levels of support. I have used mine with the white softer foam uppermost, and it seems to be the right level of support for me. Overall I'm pleased with this purchase and would recommend it for adding comfort to a hard mattress and also for offering medium support. With the blue foam layer uppermost, I would imagine that the topper would be slightly firmer, which some people would prefer. Just bear in mind that this topper comes in different thicknesses and levels of firmness, so you need to choose the version most suitable for you.

This is a great product. Comfortable and the delivery was quick. If you are looking for a mattress topper then this is the one that gets my vote.

This mattress topper made a noticeable difference right away. It adds a thick, soft layer that makes a firm mattress feel much more comfortable and the bamboo fibre cover is cool and breathable. It stays in place all night and has genuinely improved my sleep. A great upgrade for any double bed.

Der Topper hat meine Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen und ich bin mehr als zufrieden mit meinem Kauf! Zunächst einmal möchte ich die schnelle und sichere Lieferung hervorheben. Der Topper kam pünktlich und gut verpackt bei mir an, was einen hervorragenden ersten Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Die Lieferung war unkompliziert und ich konnte den Topper sofort nach Erhalt ausprobieren. Der Bonnvia® Topper ist perfekt für mein Schlafsofa geeignet und hat sich als eine großartige Ergänzung erwiesen. Der Memory Foam passt sich wunderbar dem Körper an und sorgt für einen erstklassigen Schlafkomfort. Ich habe endlich wieder erholsame Nächte, und das Aufstehen am Morgen fällt mir viel leichter. Der Topper kam sehr gut verpackt an und wir haben ihn gleich voller Erwartung ausgepackt. Ein Werkzeug, damit dieses ohne Schaden gelingt, liegt bei. Dann mussten wir erstmal warten, aber nicht so lange, der Topper kam ziemlich schnell in seine endgültige Form. Es macht ja auch nichts auf ihm zu schlafen wenn er nicht vollständig entfaltet ist. Gerüche haben wir keine festgestellt. Jetzt, nach 72 Stunden sollte der Topper fertig sein und es schläft sich hervorragend darauf nicht zu hart und nicht zu weich. Die Seite mit Härte 4 haben wir nicht ausprobiert, h3 ist ausreichend fest. Unsere Matratze wird geschont , wir schlafen gut, was will man mehr. Sehr empfehlenswertes Produkt

Sehr gut. Nutzen wir nur dazu, den Unterschied zweier Matratzenhöhen im Doppelbett optisch auszugleichen.

Mir wurde der Bonnvia Topper im Rahmen des Amazon Vine-Programms kostenlos zum Testen zur Verfügung gestellt. Meine Bewertung wird dadurch jedoch nicht beeinflusst. Der Topper kommt sehr stark komprimiert, gefaltet und eingerollt, in einer Kunststofffolie und zusätzlich verpackt in einem schmalen Karton an. Das Einrollen ist dabei kein Problem, da sich, sobald die Folie geöffnet wird, der Topper sofort beginnt auf seine ursprüngliche Höhe auszubreiten. Der Topper wurde, obgleich er mit seinen 100 cm Breite recht schmal ist, in der Verpackung zusätzlich noch gefaltet. Allerdings scheint dies kein Problem darzustellen, da sich das Material ohne groß Falten zu werfen, tatsächlich gut wieder entfaltet. Nach 1-2 Tage ist von der ursprünglichen Komprimierung nichts mehr zu sehen und auch keine Hubbel oder Falten. Die Angabe der Maße vom Hersteller stimmen soweit und sind korrekt. Die Konsistenz des Schaums ist sehr fest, so daß man den Topper gern bei zu weichen Matratzen benutzen kann, um den Schlafkomfort zu erhöhen. Der Bezug des Toppers wirkt wie sehr festes Jersey und ist sehr dick und qualitativ gut. Er weist auf der Unterseite, im unteren Bereich einen schmalseitigen Reißverschluss auf, so dass man ihn separat waschen kann. Auch das Gummi zur Fixierung an der Matratze ist mit 5 cm Breite sehr breit, lässt sich sogar noch verstellen, ist stabil und hält den Topper gut in Position. Fazit Der Topper gefällt mir richtig gut. Die Dicke, die Verarbeitung und auch das Befestigungsgummi sind von sehr guter Qualität. Das Material ist ausreichend fest, der Bezug selbst ist sauber vernäht, weist schöne breite Gummis zur Befestigung auf und einen ordentlichen Reissverschluß zur separaten Reinigung in der Waschmaschine. Von daher kann ich den Topper auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.
