Stop reading reviews and buy this already! Short version: easy to install, amazing customer service, great application with quick and simple setup, and quickly shows you where your power is going! First off, I am not a professional electrician and I would never advise anyone to attempt working in a breaker box if you’re not comfortable and know what not to touch. I was nervous taking off the breaker panel and staring at all of those wires knowing they could shock me. Now, if your panel is labeled correctly and well, you may have it easy, but mine wasn’t. I started by throwing each breaker and mapping them out. Then, I threw the main breaker at the top and used a voltage tester to check each circuit and the only thing that was live was the two large wires at the top. DO NOT TOUCH those wires. With the power off, I clipped on each of the sensors to the black wires going into the breaker, attached the two power wires to the controller to an empty breaker, and turned on the power by moving the main breaker back on. Overall, may have taken me 30 minutes to install everything. The app connects to the controller easily and setup was a breeze. They walk you through each phase of the setup to optimize your controller. I have a sub panel that comes off of my main breaker that powers a second garage. I was not able to figure out why that sensor was showing no power, so I called their customer service. I got to talk to an actual human and he was friendly and knew exactly what to do. Within a few minutes, he had that sensor working and fixed a few multipliers on some others that I had set up wrong. I even called back and got voicemail. I didn’t leave a voicemail, but he still called me right back. I could not ask for better service! I’ve had this up and running since mid January. See the attached photo. My power bill has dropped from an average of $160 a month down to $30 (yes, I have solar and this system also helps monitor that). This device has already saved me more in power than it cost me! Absolutely worth every penny! I’ve compared the power usage from the app to my power bill and my solar app and it is spot on! Great added benefit - I can see exactly what time my son turns off his computer at night. I can tell if someone left the bathroom light on, and I can basically manage everything in my house. I’ve now tied this into home assistant and am working on using it to shut things off when power consumption exceeds solar output during peak rates hours. Absolutely love it!!!

Works great, install was pretty straight forward, the speed that the unit reports to the computer app or phone app is as fast as your internet speed, so it’s pretty much instant. Great value for the money. The wireless range of the antenna is great, mine is installed on the other side of my office building from my router and it communicates perfectly. I was impressed with the quality of this product, the clamps are high quality and very sturdy. I used mine to argue the electric company trying to tell me my electrical issue was internal with my breaker box. After I submitted the reports from this device, the engineers admitted they had made a mistake and are now fixing the problem. Definitely worth the money.

I had trouble with the WiFi. But the wired Ethernet works great. I have several AC units with variable speed fans. Now I can monitor the fan speed by the electricity used and if it is not cooling enough I go to manual.

Perfect system to flash with ESP home and integrate into a home assistant setup. This system allowed me to see exactly what was drawing high power over long periods and get my electricity use down by about 15%. I wish I had done this years ago. I wouldn't recommend installing this DIY unless you know what you're doing. Breaker panels are directly accessing mains power which can and will kill you if you don't exercise care. Please hire a professional to install this. You don't need a pro to flash the software though, that's a DIY task if you have any low voltage microcontroller skills.

Totally does the job and was worth the money in my opinion. Easy enough to install.

It is a nice metering system with easy configuration to your need.

Easy to fit, reporting is clear via the app interface. Used this on MCB and sub panels to help with load sizing for generator. CT’s can be difficult to fit in small panels. Can’t find the flex CT’s, if anyone knows where I can get these would appreciate it. Overal excellent value and quality product, with good wireless integration and coverage.

Works very well. The app is very good. Lots of functionality. Helped me find out what some circuits are for in a large facility. Helped me realize major power draws and some that are not as bad as I thought. Not sure if I would have a use for it permanently, but it definitely helped.

Enfin un produit qui permet de monitorer finement la consommation de beaucoup d’équipements dans la maison sans devoir choisir. Attention tout de même les tors sont tout de même assez gros.

Excellent good value energy monitoring for LOTS of circuits. I chose to flash the device with ESPHome firmware (a little fiddly, but possible without soldering). And since I'm on single-phase electricity I was able to use one of the other phases to monitor another circuit - so I have 17 total circuits monitored. Accuracy seems very good. ESPHome gives me full (local) monitoring through Home Assistant. And, most importantly, it let me see some things where I was wasting a lot of energy unnecessarily. Both our iMac and my powerful A/V Receiver were not sleeping when not in use. So very happy with things so far. Obviously I had an electrician install this inside my consumer unit. Can't comment on Emporia's app since I don't use it.
