Wanted a simple smallish cross necklace that I could wear daily, even in the shower or going swimming etc. it has been a couple months now and I love it. It’s been drenched in water, soap, moisturiser, perfume!. All sorts!! And it still looks brand new, not one spot of green or discolouration!!. Just received this Crucifix cross last week and I LOVE IT!! It's a BRILLIANT, BRIGHT GOLD COLOR AND BEAUTIFUL and has some "SUBSTANCE" to it as it's NOT A THIN LITTLE FLIMSY PIECE OF GOLD PLATED JEWELRY. I'm' a man and to me, it's the PERFECT SIZE and THICKNESS for what I was looking for --- not TOO THIN or THICK and NOT TOO SMALL or TOO LARGE. The cross itself is somewhat thick and STRONG and seems VERY DURABLE and the chain has some BULK to it and also seems VERY DURABLE too is ALSO VERY NICE AND NOT VERY THIN AND FRAGILE where it seems like it can break easily. NICE THICKNESS for the Chain. Some people have complained about the chain but I think it's JUST PERFECT for my personal preference. I didn't want anything too GAUDY. Also has some BULK to it and it is a VERY NICE COMBINATION TOGETHER!! Have been wearing a plastic cross rosary around my neck for a few years and never had a REAL PIECE OF JEWELRY to wear CHRIST on the CROSS. But for the price (less than $10!) , I'M EXTREMELY SATISFIED NOW. Again just received it but it says on the instructions NOT TO GET IT WET SO I WILL NOT WEAR IT IN THE SHOWER so I will try to take it off as often as possible when I shower. Not sure if it will become easily tarnished by water, but I'd prefer not to take a chance and discolor it. It is 18K GOLD and that hopefully will keep it looking good for many years --- especially if I take care not to shower with it often. It also says to TAKE OFF WHEN SLEEPING but that is ridiculous and I'm not doing that every night! I don't think that should be a problem though as the chain is a nice thickness. Actually received 2 accidentally and didn't mean to order 2 and was going to return it, but since I love it SO MUCH, I'M GOING TO KEEP IT AND GIVE IT TO A FRIEND FOR CHRISTMAS GIFT. And I just ordered more of them for additional Christmas gifts too as it's VERY INEXPENSIVE FOR A VERY NICE PIECE OF JEWELRY REPRESENTATIVE OF JESUS' DEATH FOR OUR SINS!! WHAT A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS GIFT!!
