This Unifi Camera is compact and performs well. We specifically chose this model because it does not have a microphone, ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania's legal requirements. In our state, recording audio and video indoors is prohibited unless all parties are notified. Essentially, if a camera is exposed to the elements, it's generally safe to record audio.

High quality never fails in 10F weather

I wasn't sure if these cameras would bE AN upgrade over my existing Reolink surveillance system because they are 2K and my Reolink cameras are 4K. However, the Unifi cameras image is much better and it seems to have a wider picture. It's not just a little better. It's dramatically better. The other surprising but wonderful feature of these cameras is they are tiny compared to the Reolinks. Therefore, they look a lot better on the exterior of my house. Be aware you need the whole UNVR system with hard drives etc. to use these Unifi cameras. That's also a great system and it integrates with my Unifi home network system. Love Unifi!

Good camera for the money and in the UniFi ecosystem. No issues so far, only using a few watts of power.

The cameras are refreshingly small -- significatnlly smaller than other current cameras such as the riolink. The video quality is excellent. I have 4 installed, and 1 of them picks up a reflection in the glass, so I can't use the IR illuminiator -- even with that, just the IR filter, provides a very good nighttime image. This behavior is only on 1 camera, I am assuming it is just the particular angle / refraction point on the lens. The others have no problems. The installation was annoying - The opening for the network gland is large. Much larger than the REO link cameras previously used. Since the hole pre-existed, I had to 'open it' to get the camera placed. The problem with that is hole-saws are great for a new hole - but making one larger is a pain. Integration into the Unifi platform was as effortless as you can ever imagine - Unifi more than anyone makes the technical experience simple. that is -1 star for the difficult re-installation, and -1 star for the poor refraction.

Easy POE installation, exactly as described and pictured.

This is a super compact dome camera for indoor use that adopts into Unifi Protect. It's worth mentioning that this camera has a short cord with the ethernet connector, this isn't a problem if you're mounting it in a drop-ceiling or somewhere with space behind where the camera base attaches. I will say that if you are trying to surface mount this you may need a junction box to contain the extra cable.

The camera is OK quality and smaller than a typical dome. One issue I found though was a reflection from the dome plastic under certain lighting when IR is activated.
