Good product
Works well. I downloaded the software to set it up as I only use it to supply the BT ONT device and a Tp-link XE75 .I set shutdown to 100 minutes. When I repowered my PC, I seemed to have a lot of issues. I did scan the download with bitdefender, it seemed clean. I ended up having to completely reformat and reload windows 11pro. A pain. Software best avo. Product itself seems good. I've switched mains supply off and ran it for 45 minutes without issues

Good value for money and easy to use
Very easy to set up and ran my router, my CCTV camera unit for 12 hours during a power cut. Would recommend.

Does the job!
I'm using 2 of these units on servers & networking peripherals and can says they are great little ups's! The included software isn't great but does what its supposed to more of less for my instance. However, I decided to make the jump to NUT Tools to manage these UPS via HA, whilst retaining the protocol for shutting down my servers within windows/linux on my schedule. The setup is a somewhat fiddly task for NUT Tools but can be achieved with patience and a guide. Overall - Hardware 4/5 - Software 2/5 - For the quirky software and odd registration sign-up.

Gonna be a great standby for my internet etcetc
Loved how easy this was to set up.Didnt use the data thing as a bit beyond my capabilities. It came with a 75%charge but I plugged it and it took it to100%fairly quickly without me switching the powerbank on ,I just switched it on at wall after plugging it in. All in all a good buy and very pleased with Amazon's usual ver good delivery service

Constant low battery. Software sucks.
When it arrived, it could not hold a charge above 72%. This was fine, because it said that the load my devices put on it was only about 21%. But over the next couple days, power just haemorrhaged. It has now been charging for two days straight with nothing plugged into it, and it still reports having less than 25% power. I can't tell how much specifically, because whenever I plug it into my computer, the software panics and shuts my PC down. Speaking of software, it's bad. It looks like it was designed for Windows ME. Half of the features don't work. One of the features that has never worked is the 'UPS Test' button, which is ironic because it might have been able to catch this problem early. Performance was decent for a very short time, but I can't even say that things went south after the honeymoon period. They went south as we got into the car to drive away from the wedding. Despite having less energy than I have whenever Winter rolls around, the UPS doesn't see a fault with itself.

Does what it says on the tin and works with Home Assistant 👍
I was looking for a small and relatively cheap UPS that would interface with Home Assistant. This ticked all the boxes in terms of size and power. I have this connected this powering my Synology NAS DS218+, a 16 port TP link switch and a Gmtek G2 NUC running Home Assistant. Initially I connected the UPS to the NAS via the included USB cable and the Synology detect the NAS but always read the battery charge at 100%. Not ideal. So I connected the USB cable to the NUC running Home Assistant and added the Network UPS Tools add-on (not the integration, that comes later). In the devices part of the config for the add-on, I used: - name: myups driver: blazer_usb port: auto config: - vendorid = 0001 - productid = 0000 - desc = "MEC0003" - protocol = megatec Once the NUTS server add-on is running, I added the NUTS client integration under Devices & Services to monitor the UPS and connected locally (tip the host is always a0d7b954-nut). Once running, HA can monitor the battery charge level, so I created an automation that monitors the charge level and when the UPS is on battery. If the battery charge drops below 60% I send a command to the Synology NAS to shutdown. I've run some tests and even running a NAS, 16 port switch and NUC, the SKE UPS was only at 8% load and easily ran for 30 minutes and still have 56%. You can mute the beep at the push of a button. Recommended if around £70 at the time of buying.

If you own a server or NAS, avoid this UPS — poor software and zero support
I purchased the SKE SK1500 (1500VA / 900W) to protect my Windows Home Server 2011 (around 800W load) and a D-Link NAS with three drives. Because my NAS is set up with single drives and no redundancy or RAID, it is very vulnerable to sudden power loss. An unexpected power cut can physically damage the hard drives, causing grooves or bad sectors that eventually destroy the disk. Since all of my work and data live on those drives, I needed a UPS to protect my system and give me enough time for a safe shutdown. The hardware itself works: it runs my ~800W server and NAS without overloading, and provides about 4–6 minutes of runtime at that load. The LCD display shows voltage, load, and battery percentage. It also includes RJ-45 surge protection ports for internet/DSL lines. But the software doesn’t work at all. The included UPSilon 2000 is outdated, unreliable, and fails to monitor or shut down systems as promised. Without working software, the UPS loses half its usefulness. What makes this worse is the lack of support. I contacted the manufacturer directly and after 2–3 days I never got any reply. From my perspective, I wouldn’t recommend this UPS to anyone who might need help or technical assistance. If you purchase something like this, you should expect at least some level of support. The fact that they never replied shows that once they sell it, they simply don’t care. I will be contacting Amazon to see if they can reach out to the company because customers deserve better after-sales service. Bottom line: The SK1500 may be affordable and the hardware works at a basic level, but the software is broken and there’s zero support from the manufacturer. If you value your data and want a UPS you can actually trust, I strongly suggest buying from APC, Eaton, or CyberPower instead. ⸻ 👉 Do you want me to also shrink this down into a short “quick warning” version (3–4 lines) you could post as a follow-up comment or Q&A on the Amazon product page?

i would over estimate the size you will need
has been used for 3 months plus with no problem. ( deals with short term breaker trips easily) the fact that they are UK plug sockets and not kettle leads makes it great for home use no need to buy different cables for your devices ( pc and monitor) . it does hum when in battery mode BUT DOES THAT REALLY MATTER. when its just standing by it does make a little noise but no more than your pc or fridge. the software UI is out dated and simple but does what i need only thing is i have never had a temp reading at all it doesnt come with a USB cable to connect to ur pc.
