Great 1st birthday gift . Best 15 seconds of his life . The biggest smile I’ve ever seen on him. He’s not walking yet but this little drum set has given him the motivation to learn some balancing techniques. It’s not the best quality and has a few design flaws. Both bottom drums seem to get knocked off quiet a bit but for the price it’s worth it . I really love that each drum has its own light and works as described. We did have to adjust the batteries in 2 of the light bars so with some jiggling they work as described. assembly took some time, maybe 30 minutes tops. once you learn how to assemble the first drum the rest is easy . it’s also brought all of my older kids together and they all joined the fun. I’d say that’s priceless.

Its a cool little set up once you put it all together. But the drum cylinders are made from a thick card paper, the drum rings are made of plastic, basically everything is made of plastic. All the drums sound exactly the same, honestly I dont know why there are 5 in the set if there is literally no audible distinction between them. Also, after you've taken the 45 minutes of putting every piece together, I absolutely promise the kids WILL destroy it in less than an hour. There will be broken pieces, theres going to be only one plastic drumstick, the spring for the foot pedal is going to magically disappear, also the cymbal stands cartoonishly high and also sounds like aluminum. I wouldve sent it back but to much damage has already been done and theres missing pieces. Infact, I think the seller made everything flimsy and out of paper intentionally.

Pain to put together and had to fix multiple times after some play. Not sturdy enough for rambunctious kids

Lights quit working after only a month, and the set is flimsy and feels cheap. The thin plastic connections are prone to snapping. Save your money, get a different set
