Punchy little speaker! I love that this is waterproof, and is encased in a shockproof case. It has a lot of sound for a little speaker and out performs phone speakers hands down. There is some bass but it is not the intent of this speaker. It is compact and pretty cool. It’s great for kids connecting to a fire tablet, cell phone, or computer. It’s small enough to take anywhere.

Purchased this JBL portable waterproof speaker as a Christmas grab bag gift and it was by far the most popular item. The sound is impressive for its size, it’s lightweight and easy to travel with, and works great for outdoor activities like golf carts, patios, or trips. Excellent quality at a great price point. Highly recommend!

I got this while it was on sale. Volume is definitely above average for its size and its good for gathering of 4 to 6 people. Its pretty easy to setup and it connects flawlessly, never had any issue there. Its well built, premium in and out, cover and skin feels soft but its certainly heavy duty, I have dropped this in dirt and water multiple times and no issue so far. It has very dim led lights on the buttons which are OK but not great. Battery life last anywhere between 2 to 4 hours depending on how high the volume is, but I have re charged this about two times during normal camping with kids and family. Color options are great and good for casual use. I have used this around campfire and kids were dancing with it for few hours. Overall great value for its size and quality.

Images show the small size compared to iPhone 16 pro. This little thing delivers very nice, clean sound. Connectivity was quick and seamless. Has a very high quality look and feel. I had a JBL Flip 5 which was too boomy. This one packs a punch. I’m massively impressed.

Sound quality is actually pretty good, and the bass is better than I expected from something this small. It works well for listening around the house, in the garage, or outside when you’re close to it. Battery life has been solid, and I like not having to worry about it getting splashed or dusty. It feels well made and easy to use, and pairing was quick. The only real downside for me is the volume. It just doesn’t get loud enough for bigger spaces or when there’s a lot of background noise. For a small room or personal use it’s fine, but it struggles if you’re trying to fill an area or use it with a group. Still a good little speaker, just keep expectations realistic when it comes to volume. That’s why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I’m really impressed with the JBL Go 4! For such a compact speaker, the sound quality is amazing — clear, balanced, and louder than I expected.
