Plugged right in and had everything needed in the kit. The problem was hard to fit everything under the cover behind the mirror. Works well.

I found this to plug in my dash cam and RV rear camera screen. Kit came nicely packed in a box with tools and good clear directions. Whole install was about 20 min and really fit great. Nice not having any wires hanging down. Great Kit!!

Worked great at first. Then I started having intermittent power problems. Then it became permanent. I took it apart and found that the power adapter had warped and quit working. Apparently, it doesn’t like the heat of the sun shining on the windshield mounted enclosure. Hopefully they can send me a new one or I can find one more heat resistant. I have reduced this to one star. Two of these failed. Both of the power adapters warped from overheating while being used. Cheap components that will work at first and then fail. It starts by losing power intermittently until failing completely. Both did the exact same thing in my 2025 Ram pickup.

Works well with my Chevy suburban, to much wiring so I couldn’t fit the piece that covers behind the mirror. Not very noticeable though and a trade off I’ll gladly take over running an actual power line for the camera.

This DashCam Power Adapter was completely compatible with the GMC Canyon mirror connection. Because my mirror is self dimming it is necessary to tap into the power properly so the mirror works as before and provides power for the DashCam. This enables a clean connection with no wires hanging down from the mirror. If you are installing a DashCam you need one of these Power Adapters.

Had a dashcam for my 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT. After spending hours trying to find a fuse slot that was not always on, I did some more digging online and found this. It connects to your powered rear view mirror. I was able to install in about 15 minutes. Save yourself time and headaches, use this to power your dashcam.

Worked great! Everything in the package was of high quality and the directions were clear and correct.

Waited too long to install and missed the return deadline. The USB port is bad. I connected a USB from another unit i have and it worked. Needless to say, took a long time to find the bad wiring. Frustrating to have to chase down a bad wire from a new package. Cheaply made. Edit: The seller read my review, and sent me a replacement cable that fixed the problem. Changing from 1 star, to 3 stars.
