Sturdy and comes with clamps
So here’s the deal: I moved into a rental that was clearly built by someone who hates laundry. The laundry area is only set up for a stackable washer/dryer, but guess what I don’t have? A stackable washer/dryer. So I had to get creative. And by creative, I mean I had to string a 25-foot dryer hose across my dining room like I was laying cable in a submarine. Enter this absolute beast of a hose. My last one was 8 feet long, thin as a dollar-store mylar balloon, and tore the second I looked at it wrong. This one? This one is a tank. It’s got this weirdly luxurious, cloth-like texture that makes it feel fancier than it has any right to. I’ve stepped on it, dragged it, and suspended it from my ceiling with zip ties and blind optimism—and it’s still going strong. Also, shoutout to the clamps that came with it. These aren’t the janky kind that strip if you sneeze too hard. They’re solid, sturdy, and actually work. Which, if you’ve installed a few of these before, you’ll know is rarer than it should be. The dryer vents perfectly. No hot air escaping. No lint confetti parties. Just smooth, reliable function. If you’ve got an inconvenient setup or just need something that doesn’t fall apart the moment it touches a wall, this hose is it. Treat yourself. Your dryer deserves love too.

worked for my need and seems like good quality.
I bought this for my oven hood vent. It worked for my use but probably would not hold up to code. It is bigger than I needed but I could not find any 7-inch ducts when I looked for it, that is what the pipe measured when I used my measuring tape. I used it to replace a small section of metal duct work on the hood over the oven area that had massive holes in it that were taped up with duct tape by the people that lived here at some point. So far, no issues. I no longer have an oven; I use air fryers and tabletop cookers. I used aluminum tape to secure it to the old duct and the new hood I put in. Might be double walled, I have plenty left for any projects that come up.

Great product for venting.
Great product. Really easy to install. You can customize the length and adjust to your needs. Inexpensive.

Installed without ripping
I read about lots of problems with similar products so I figured I'd give this one a shot. (I don't know if they are all the same or not.) I only needed about half the length so I was happy to buy one this short. I should probably cut it in half and save half for if/when this half wears out. Hmm. I installed it between my hybrid water heater 8 in. duct adapter and an 8 in. Starting Collar Take Off from Home Depot. It was a very tight fit on both ends but I managed to get it installed without any tearing on either end. The construction seems to be 2 layers, the interior silver layer reminds me of a mylar ballon. The ruggedness seems to be about the same as other flexible (but insulated) ducting in my townhouse. The only thing I didn't like was the screw on the clamp was difficult to screw with any of the drivers (including nut) that I own. It's an abnormal wide flat blade/phillips combo none of my tools fit and the nut is too close to the band for a nut driver/socket unless it is a very thin wall socket.

Does the job.
6” diameter by 8 ft. Needed to replace a short 6” flex that’s part of a furnace humidifier. Used less than 1/2 of it. Getting the ends secured was challenging but worked out in the end. Had to cut the wire one turn in to get it to fit properly over the flange. A round of aluminum tape secured it enough to get the supplied circle clamp installed. One more round of tape on top sealed it perfectly. Should last. Material is all high quality.

Surprisingly worth it!
Great product, I was skeptical at first, but it works great

Why did I not find this one before
The quality of this ducting is impeccable. I have purchased at least six other brands that are all terrible. If you’re looking for something that’s thick, sturdy easy to work with, and doesn’t bounce all over the place choose this one.
