Did the job!!!

It's always nice to see wooden educational resources and games. As a tutor, I do use this resource with the children I teach, who often ask for it. However, as a 'crossword maker' it's not all that great for English language users. Half the vowels have umlauts and there are as many Qs and Zs as As and Es. I've had, therefore, to adapt how we use it - e.g. we make word strings, changing one letter at a time and reusing the letters on the line above to create the next word on the line below. Limited usage, therefore, but still nice within those limitations. It's definitely better for kids than adults, though, because you need little fingers to lift the letter cubes out of the grid!

Didn't actually say it was German! Had ü and ö in the alphabet, but just took them out.
