I have Atrial Fibrillation for many years & as a consequence I have been prescribed daily anticoagulant ( Rivaroxaban). In my case, the anti-coagulant is associated with frequent nose bleeds-2 or 3 times per week-occasionally more frequently, usually at night or when I first get up. Sometimes I find these nose bleeds uncontrollable & require a visit to A&E & a rather painful procedure to stem the flow. The bleeding has compromised the quality of life, proving too embarrassing to stay overnight with friends or in hotels. For the last few months, I have been administering a dab of this Aquagel via cotton bud to the bottom of each nostril (it doesn’t have to be placed too far in) before I go to bed The application of this gel ensures that the nostrils remain moist through the night. As a consequence, the frequency of bleeds has very significantly dropped. You might consider this stuff expensive, but the small pot lasts me 6-8 weeks. Try it, it works for me. Incidentally, anyone else out there who has frequent nose bleed might find helpful the 16 piece Nose stop clips from Amazon. They cost about £7.99 for 16.Good value. They allow hand free wait whilst the bleeding is stemmed.

This stuff works! It’s soothing and doesn’t run down the back of your throat. I purchased the eucalyptus but the scent is very faint. As other reviewers mentioned it’s expensive for a small container but it only takes a small amount and I expect the container to last awhile. I put a small amount on a q-tip and apply to the inside of my nose. I’m prone to nosebleeds when the humidity is low and this has helped a great deal. I will buy again.

I am on oxygen 24 hours a day and suffered from extreme dry nose to the point I often had a bloody nose. Have tried numerous products that didn't help. Barnum this is this best product I have ever tried for my nostrils, no more bloody noses.

While the bottle is small and rather expensive, it is worth it completely. I use CPAP which brought on painful sores in the nose due to dryness (I have radiator heat). After a few days - no more sores! I highly recommend.

Works as described. Eucalyptus smell is very mild (not like some products with essential oils). Does not appear to harm the latex CPAP or 02 mask devices. Lightly touch the tip of a clean swab into the jar, then swirl inside the nostrils and a bit outside or lower lip if needed. Any film in nostrils seems to disappear without skin irritation.

For as long as I can remember, from fall through spring, I would developed cracks at the points of my nostrils where they met my face or the tip of my nose. Very uncomfortable. The days of use and the cracks healed and haven't returned. If you have trouble with low humidity, I can't recommend this enough.
