Very cute jars, decent size and quality at a good price. The lids are a little cheap and feel low in quality, but will most likely buy again, great for candle making.

These are really lovely little grey smoked glass jars with a nice matte surface, which look great with a candle inside, as they mute the brightness through the sides of the smoked glass, but still allow the brighter light out of the top. They come with smart litlte wooden lids that have a silicon seal ring on them, so a scented candle will hold its scent perfectly, as strong as the day you poured it.They arrive well packed in a plain card box with internal dividers, and each glass jar is inside a thin plastic bag, then inside a bubble-wrap bag, so the surface is protected from scratches and from slight bangs. All six arrived in perfect condition for me.I haven't poured any wax into them yet, but I put a tealight into one, to see what it would look like, and it's a gorgeous muted glow. Theyre glass, so as long as you warm them a little in the oven on low before you pour the wax in there's no danger of them shattering as you pour them.In terms of scale, as a guide they're a little smaller than the standard White Company glass candles, but they're still a reasonable scale. If you were pouring good quality long-lasting soy wax with a decent, dense wick (not too big, as the diameter of the jar limits the wick size, so for instance I wouldn't put a wooden wick in these), I guess you'd get a maximum of a twenty hour burn in one.The glass tint is light enough in colour that you could put a design on it, but because its a matte finish you couldn't use a clear printed label because it wouldn't be able to lie flat to the glass. But I'd still say these are worth it, because the matte finish does look very sophisticated.In terms of price, at around £3.33 each they're a little on the expensive side for 7oz lidded jars, but they do look very smart, and if yu're doing a short run of gifts for family or friends, they'll give a really professional look.In all very happy with these; they'll make any candle extra-special.

I really love the look of the matt smoky dark grey finish on these jars which can be used for candle making or other crafting purposes. They come with matching bamboo lids which unfortunately with mine, don't quite line up properly.Personally I think decorating the jars with acrylic paints would compliment them very well and can't wait to get crafting and maybe painting some flowers and butterflies on them. The lids give a reasonable seal to stop any spillages, or in the case of scented candles, help retain the perfume essences. Good set of containers just a little on the expensive side.

I've recently got into candle making and needed something to put my new creations in.I ordered the white colour and they look lovely and are well made. The jars are made out of glass and come with lovely bamboo lids which fit the jars perfectly.I've tried these out and they are lovely to use and look at. Recommended.
