Great Shark Product Great Buy!!!
Great Product!!!!! Using only distilled water for steam it cleaned my kitchen floor very nicely. I used this on ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathroom. Made some hard to clean spots look new again. Got up lots of dirt and grime. Did not make my back hurt like it does with the mop. I cleaned the pads with just some soap and water and the sprayer from the sink. Be careful when you take the pads off they will be hot from the steam. All in all great product for the money me and the hubby are both happy with the results of using the Shark Steam & Scrub cleaner.

Shark Steamer: A hard working companion, Easy to use and Great results.
I'm a previous Shark Steamer owner. It was a flat steam mop not rotary. I had this one maybe 10 years. That one got water temps to about 180 degrees. It worked really well but left streaks. I had tried other steamers that promised to get water temps to 212 degrees which is boiling point for water. They all failed within months. Too small and too hot. So I continued to use my old Shark Steamer with ok results. I prefer the idea of steaming for cleaning vs the chemical solution for other store bought mops. I bought this one in December 2025, just before Christmas because the old steamer died. I am very pleased. The things I like include the following. 1. Bigger water tank. I can steam clean more before taking the time to refill. The old one took 3 fills to do a small clean like the kitchen and bathrooms. Today I did a much more thorough cleaning, rolling up rugs, moving furniture etc. This was a longer clean time. I filled twice. Very happy. 2. I didn't know if I would like the roller pads as never using before. It actually works well. It is so much easier to move the steamer over the floor and I think it cleans better. Also, I don't get the streaking I got with the old machine. I'm very pleased. 3. It is light weight and easy to maneuver. 4. Steam: So the pads are wet with the steam water and you have a button to push for more steam if you need it. Very nice. Needless to say, I get enough steam to clean the floor. Very happy. 5. The prompts ask about scent? I don't know why. I do put a bit of vinegar in the distilled water. My preference. 6. I use distilled water. 7. The pads are easy to snap on and take off once you get the hang of it. Concerns include: 1. The cord is stiff. The cord on my first steamer was very pliable. The cord gets wrapped around the 2 hooks on the handle. The question I have is will this decrease the life of the cord? I have no idea. Perhaps with use it will be more flexible. I could be just being "new". Time will tell. 2. The cord is shorted than the Shark steamer I had before. I have added a short extension set for ease. 3. The pads work well. They also get very dirty, to be expected. I found that I have to take a strong brush to the the pads before putting them in the washer. Otherwise they come out really cruddy. It's a small step. The old steamer mop head got ugly pretty fast. I have 2 sets going right now and doing well. Over all, I am very very pleased with this Shark Steamer and would recommend.

Best Shark Spin Steam Spin Mop To Date!
Best stream mop model to date! If you’re looking for a way to stream sanitize your floors this is the model for you. This is the S8201 and newest edition to the Shark Stream Mop line. This upgraded version has a removable tank, making refills easy. I recommend using distilled water for cleaning, especially if you have hard water or treated city water - it prevents mineral buildup within the steam vac. This is lightweight and, while it’s not cordless, the cord is plenty long enough to clean a large area. We have hardwood in the kitchen, dining room, office, and living room and I was able to steam clean all of these floors with one small tank refill. It has three settings, the higher, the more powerful. It’s a self-propelled steam mop too, so it’s really easy to move around compared to manual ones. This version also has LED lights - a feature I love in all vacuum type devices because it can make it so much better to catch missed areas. The steam blast feature works great on stuck on stains. Occasionally it takes a few steam blasts and passes with the spinning scrubbers if something is really stuck on the floor. I loved mine so much, I got one for my moms house in NY too. She is disabled and needs assistance with cleaning, and that seemed like an easier option than brining mine back and forth. Oh, and let me add - during winter months when the salt from icy roads inevitably gets tracked inside from shoes or furry paw prints, this can clean those spots up super fast! The S8201 model comes with four spinner attachments. After cleaning, just toss them in the wash and once dry they are good to go again. A much more environmentally conscious product compared to one time use mopping pads seen with things like the Swiffer Wetjet. The price for this has fluctuated a lot over the past couple of months. I initially purchased mine for $179, but then a couple weeks later it dropped to $119 so I did a re-order/return - $60 is a big difference. Whether you’re buying through Amazon, Shark, QVC, or TikTok - just make sure to pay attention to the model number being sold! The S8200 only comes with one set of scrubbing pads (and tends to cost more), and any lower model number is outdated. If you like to clean and sanitize without harsh chemicals (especially if you have young kids or pets!), this is worth your investment.
S**!
Great except for the cord.
I was skeptical, but not anymore. I love it! Works as described. Easy, light, heats up fast, good quality except for the cord, the cord sort of sucks. It's just like an extension cord. Flat, and stiff. It would rate 5 stars if the cord was a normal round one like on their vacuum cleaners! Cheap, wimpy cord otherwise it's GREAT!

Fun to use!
Works well. I enjoy how it glides effortlessly on my floor. It gets the job done and without having to use chemicals. I don’t see much need for the steam blaster to be honest but I opted for it because this model looks nice and premium. Also, it doesnt start sanitizing until 3 min in, but at that time, your water tank goes empty. I wish there was a way to activate it sooner. Other than that, it feels well built and the pads are durable.

Buy this now
This is the best thing I have ever bought to clean with. I love it so much. The steam comes in 3 levels which makes it perfect for cleaning even my LVP (mine isn’t glued, I know they say not to use this but I do) I have hardwood and tile everywhere so this has saved my life. You can use the steam trigger to shoot out the front and it helps break up even the toughest of crud on the floor. The mop heads spin which is great to really get a nice clean going. It heats up quickly, and has a decent sized water tank so you can go for a few rooms. This is perfect for all hard surfaces. I even used it in our shower to scrub the floor tiles in there! Highly recommend the steam and scrub mop!

Awesome for deep cleaning!
It's AMAZING! I wouldn't say it's great for daily use, but for deep cleaning I love it. I use my combo vac, mop, steamer weekly or twice weekly and then bust this one monthly just after to really get the floors clean. I think it's the best scrubbing steam mop I've had. I like how the pads have bristles that scrub and the action of the rotating pads.

Cleans Great!
I would rate this mop at about a 4.5 as I have a few insignificant quams with it. Things I loved: 🩷 The mop heads spin at decent RPM and a significant amount of pressure does not need to be applied to get even pretty stuck and dried spills. 🩷 The way the mop heads attach is both with strong velcro and hard plastic spokes so there is no chance of the pads coming off and flinging across the room as others have done to me in the past. 🩷 The amount of steam is consistent and ample enough that you can move continuously and not have to wait for more steam. I bought the version with the Steam Blaster but feel that even the one without it would work just as well. 🩷 The pads reach efficiently into the edges of baseboards and clean into cracks and crevices. It obviously doesn't do corners well given the circular shape of the pads, but with the right maneuver you can make it happen. Things that could be better: ❌ the water tank is relatively small compared to other steam mops I have used. I had to refill once to do my downstairs bathroom, hallway and kitchen (I live in an apartment) and my other mop would still be 1/3 of the way full but this tank emptied both times. However, I do suspect that this contributes to the light weight of the mop and increases the maneuverability. I also used the Heavy setting the entire time and used the Steam Blaster often throughout cleaning. If I had used a lower setting and been less frivolous with my steam blasting, this may have mediated the issue. ❌ I love that the mop sits upright on its own if you put it into the upright position. However, several times in tight spaces and weird angles (such as around the toilet) the mop would pop into Upright mode which stops the rotation of the pads, and the only way to get them to spin again is to tilt the mop out of upright mode and push the button on the front to re-select a cleaning mode. I wish there was a different mechanism of deciding whether or not I wanted the pads to spin. Sometimes I need them to spin in an upright position. Additionally, when the mop is placed in Upright position, the pads stop but the steam continues to be produced. So if you are cleaning hardwood and put your mop up to do something, you may risk oversteaming and damaging your floors in that spot. If the mop assumes that I don't need the pads to spin in the upright position, why would I need the steam. Kind of an odd design choice and there should be a manual way to select the rotation of the pads and production of steam. None of the cons are dealbreakers and overall I am very pleased with this mop for the price!
