A great relief when putting on shoes
Now that I am getting on a bit, it is pure luxury to grab this shoe horn, and slip into my shoes without either bending over or down to get them on. A real plus is the quality of the object; really a piece of artwork that is also functional. 5 stars all around.

Stronger and nicer looking than the metal ones, perfect length.
Exactly what I needed. I had a metal one, but the metal was cheap and it bent. This wood is smoother and stronger than the metal. I'm a generally healthy person but just had back surgery and can't lean over at all for a few months. This one is long enough that I can scoot the shoe to near my foot and then put it on with very little effort. Perfect!

Overall - Love this shoe horn!
I bought two of these at different times, the first one I received was on the narrow side almost as though it was made for a very small foot, even the handle followed the narrow flow. The second one I purchased was thicker and much more solid, there seems to be a production consistency issue with the product. Having said that I appreciate the fact that the shoe horn is long enough that I do not have to bend to use it, I am 6'1" and mostly legs. The wood quality is very nice (very hard wood) , the edges have been smoothed. price is on the higher side but I think it is worth it, I would buy it again as a matter of fact I did.

Awesome teak shoe horn
I've been using my teak shoe horn for a few months now. I'd previously favored plastic shoes but have also had metal ones. This wood shoe horn is now my fave. It feels less hard on that back of my heels when I use it, although I realize that I may simply be convincing myself that it's not as hard as a metal shoe horn. It's sturdy and nonmetallic, so I'll be sure to pack it in my travel kits with full confidence that it won't set off any airport metal detectors. It's lighter weight than metal and isn't likely to ever break like plastic. I'm now intending to purchase some as Christmas gifts, and I may buy myself another as a spare.

Long shoe horn.
It is sturdy and long. So much easier to use than those cheap plastic one.

Only for the DAINTY
Yes it looks great, but if you need any sort of durability at all steer clear of this one. I'm fairly rough on shoehorns and I heard a "snap!" within a week, and then I dropped it on my hardwood floor a few days later and the tip cracked. Sure, it's partly me. If you plan to use it with almost zero force and don't drop it on a hard surface, then go for it. If you use it like many people use a shoehorn...I wouldn't.

The one
It is the, substancial long shoehorn. I have had a metal one that not only felt flimsy, poorly designed but it soon bent. I had 2 long plastic shoehorns which worked beautifully and although they lasted longer than the metal tubed shoe horn they cracked over a few months use. The teak shoe horn so far is probably the best, it feels good in your hand, works very well and looks like a hand made piece of fine work.

My favorite shoe horn
Bending over hurts my back, and I don't wear shoes in my house. That created a problem for me every time I was headed outside. So I ordered about 3 different long handled shoe horns to keep near doors where I leave my shoes and this teak one is my hands-down favorite. It is a beautifully crafted work of art that would look fine in anyone's umbrella stand or entry way. It is sturdy, the finish is silky smooth, and it could not work any better. I have bought them as gifts for other seniors and everyone loves them.
