It's pretty good
It's okay, I love it works pretty well only problem is I think it doesn't wants to stay in all the way I bought the white one and keeps disconnecting/ acting off. Might be something on my end.

Does not charge properly.
After reading all the other reviews, I decided to give this a shot even though most of them said that there were issues with the charging. I figured I could tinker with it and get it working. I was really hoping I could get it working because it is the perfect solution to my storage issues on the ROG Ally. Long story short, don't waste your time. I tried everything. You may have some luck with 100w charger but it will still shut charging off if you access files on a thumb drive that's plugged into it, which makes it completely useless for my purposes. Amazing idea, poor execution. It's also very tight fitting which is great but will definitely cause issues with using a protective case. I had planned to modify my current case if it had worked as intended but it didn't.

Amazing USB Hub
Right out of the box, I love this thing. I've wanted this since the first day I got the Ally. It fits perfectly to the body of the Ally. It does 30 watt right out of the box too, not sure what the review was talking about. The closest USB port is still well out of the way from how I naturally hold it. There's a faint light at the top that bleeds through the USB port a little bit. Nothing that bothers me though. I'll plug my dongle into it later tonight to see how well it works with a monitor. But like I said, this thing is amazing.

Devices lose power when unplugged due to a lack of Fast Role Swap
I should have expected this since it was so cheap, but it does not have Fast Role Swap, so the usb hub and devices connected to it reset when power is removed or applied. I have a oculink adapter in my ally and intended to use this with windows to go on a usb c ssd drive both docked and undocked. Unfortunately, having to restart whenever power is applied is kinda annoying, but it otherwise works fine. It does have issues with usb negation and sometimes goes to 30mb/s, but not sure if that’s a problem with the dock or it just being incompatible with my usb drives. Both usb A ports can run at 5gbps simultaneously.

Does exactly what you need
I bought this for my sons ASUS ROG. Works good at charging and adding a 2T memory card for additional gaming and emulation. He seems happy and hasn’t complained once, so I’d say it’s worth the purchase

Very loose fit
I ordered the white one for my ally and it worked great for 20 minutes! But and it still works if it's inserted at the right angle but if you so much as look at it it will stop working and you have to re adjust

Fits, but loosely. Only get 25W mode with stock/65W charger.
All in all not a bad dock, but didnt do what I was hoping, which was to take off the stress of the USB cord. I had to cut a piece of foam in two places to make it fit right. Too mad it doesnt fit perfectly as it is kinda janky now but it works. Also a bad part was if you use the stock charger you will not get 30W boost using a 65W charger, you only get the 25W mode. So ok if you are playing A/AA games but a downer if you are trying to play AAA games.
