This bag is a breeze to travel with. The wheels turn on a dime, which makes navigating a busy airport so much easier than my old luggage! This was the only bag I found made by a well-known company that fits the dimensions for American Airlines carry-on size. Others were about an inch over when considering wheels and handles (may have worked but didn’t want to chance it). This lightweight bag is also easy for me to get in and out of the overhead compartment myself without a struggle. The bag is constructed well, with heavy-duty zippers and handles. It’s not a cheap suitcase, but you get what you pay for. There’s a reason why so many flight personnel have TravelPro luggage.

I just needed to replace a Hartmann rollaboard that doesn’t quite meet the dimensions for international flights. This Travelpro is not as stable and well-built as that one, but it costs half as much and weighs less than the Hartmann bag. Capacity seems nearly the same, so it’s been a good choice.

Perfect size and no need to worry about it being allowed with any of the new carry on changes. However, it ROLLS...almost too well. Don't take your eyes off of it or it might just disappear. It also tips over way too easily if you place anything other than a very lightweight tote on top...forget about a backpack or tote with your laptop, assorted cords and chargers and the other necessity of a long flight.

My last wheeled carry-on suitcase bit the dust - its handle snapped off while walking down an airport concourse! After looking at many carry-on suitcases & reading many hundreds of reviews, I bought a Travelpro Crew ClassicLightweight Softside Expandable Carry on. I never check luggage if I can help it, & I wanted a suitcase I could carry on with both US and international airlines. I haven't traveled with this yet, but am impressed with its sturdy handle with 6 different lengths - this will accommodate people of different heights and allow plenty of room to attach a carry-on bag on top. It's got grab handles on three sides, handy top pocket, as front pocket big enough for a laptop or an assortment of personal articles or a jacket. The main compartment opens from the side so that it won't take up as much space when opened. The interior is very nice, with a long zippered interior pocket and a clip-in insert with two pockets, one of them for liquids. And it's expandable too. The zippers work smoothly. The blue color with brown trim looks very classy. I'm confident I'll be happy with this suitcase!

Star rating reflects their customer service. The construction is top notch, as it should be for the cost. If you enjoy form letters/responses, this is your company! It took 3 try's to finally get a human involved, and then the rep used 90% of a form letter for her response. To top this off they are out of stock, with no ETA for the wheel assembly that I would like to purchase in case one gets damaged. This bag does match the stated dimension in the descriptions, which as I have found is rare. The trade-off for meeting the stringent carry-on requirement is the bag has a small capacity. I made up for it by using my Premium Pilot Flight Bag - from Spider Wireless (actually a private aircraft essentials bag) as my personal item. BTW, the Spider bag is a perfect bag for that. 10/10 Would buy again. Perfect size. Durable. The handle has survived lots of my dragging it around at the airport. Wheels roll freely and do not slow down. Expandable area for when you have a little extra. I have bought many carry-ons and so far (I have done over 2 dozen travels) with this and it holds up like it is brand new.

Once again, Travel Pro comes through like a champ. The last Travel Pro luggage I bought was in the 90s. The new Models Are Much lighter, better wheels, and looks great. Excellent manufacturing.

I bought this to augment my 25+ year old TravelPro carry on bag. That suitcase is still in great shape and going strong despite my frequent travel due to working as a consultant. This case is smaller and lighter, so for longer trips, the tough old bag will get checked and this lighter, smaller bag will be my carry on.

I'm picky about Carry-on luggage and although I haven't found a perfect soft-sided roller, this one is as close as I've found. Fairly light, excellent wheels, sturdy ergonomic handle, expands a bit, well organized and well made. I travel light and if I add my TravelPro Crew Tote, I'm good for a 3-4 week trip(with some laundry along the way). The only way to get something I like better would be to design and manufacture a soft-sided roller myself. I look forward to many years of organized Carry-on travel.
