If you get headaches from neck issues this is a fantastic device. My physical therapist recommended it to me and it has been great. Place it at the base of our skull where it meets your neck. It is uncomfortable at first but if you breather through it the muscles will start to relax and headache will start to dissipate. Very light weight and small device to it can easily be packed for travel or on the go. It has three different size and shapes of knobs sticking out so you can find which works best for you. I usually alternate all three. It was a decent price for the device but when your headaches go away you realize it is worth every penny!

I purchased this for my husband who prefers deep tissue massage, and based on my testing of the chirp wheel, it does seem to provide some sort of deep tissue massage or pressure. This midsize wheel is easy to use and helps my spine to pop in the areas that need to. If you are new to the chirp wheel, you may want to try the larger wheel as well. It helps to practice using it once or twice a day to get your balance, build core strength, and practice, relaxing slightly as you roll on it in order to allow for it to actually work.

Easily 10 stars. New favorite, because its versatile. I got on my belly to use on chest, under collar bone for shoulder release, great blood flow. Also released my hip, pelvic area {ladies,helps with monthly} and calves. You can sit on it too. Bought it for neck but so many other uses. Best thing i bought this year &first Chirp product I've tried, I'm a fan!

Larger rings initially cause less discomfort. The smaller rings provide a better massage. You will get used to the smaller rings very quickly.

I bought this because I was frequently experiencing this annoying pain like a pebble under my shoulder blade and could feel it run straight up my neck. It caused stiffness and limited my range of motion. I was hoping to reduce some of the tension and maybe prevent it from coming back. And, it does that well… but this thing feels so good. After a couple minutes of laying on it I can literally feel tension start to melt away (as in that warmth when it’s lessening). It is the most relaxing experience and ive made it a point to incorporate it into my bedtime routine. The only thing that is quasi negative is that you do have to play with it a little bit to make sure you get it positioned right for you. However, these are various size nodules and a couple different placement on the roll which tells me that this will work for most, if not all, once you figure out where you was the nodules to make contact with your body. It gives alot of versatility because of the varying nodules and its very well constructed. I have no doubt it’ll last a long time which makes it an excellent value. I love this product so much that I’m researching other products by Chirp. I would absolutely recommend it as it exceeds all expectations.

Love the other kind of neck stretcher and a dinner, now tried this and really enjoyed it. The little pressure fingers felt relaxing, I can use it to stretch my neck AND I can use it for a little light foam rolling type movement. It is smaller and lighter for travel than my other products.

I was excited for the Chirp wheel XR 6 inch roller as it was advertised to fit between my shoulder blades. However, it didn’t do a great job providing relief with my upper back tension, which still felt tight after use. I also hoped the nodes would effectively dig into the muscles deeper but it instead hurt from being too firm. The deciding factor for returning the item was that after two uses, the foam started to show significant creasing and bending, which made me concerned about its durability.

Partner has metal work down his spine from base of neck to middlenkf back causing him considerable daily pain. Gets alot of pressure at base of neck, has purchased alot of devices over the years but this little one is very very good. It applies pressure to the points at the base of the skull which helps to relieve his pain. He now uses it daily with is massage chair. Very simple well thought out product would definitely recommend.

AMAZING! Get it! I got the 6" XR Knot Kneader. Oh my gosh. If you are like me and don't want to spend hundreds on a massage therapist, but your back carries the weight of the world and you are starting to wake up with kinks and all sorts of alignment issues and knots and annoyance.....GET THIS. Just do it. I've only had it a few days. Day 1, it realigned my back in a few different places, kneaded out some knots, and I instantly had better and more relaxed posture. Plus, felt kind of giddy. That is basically my experience every time. I can't use it daily, it's pretty deep for that, but every other day or every few days is great. I am in love with this thing. Side note, the space in the middle so it doesn't press your vertebrae is one of my favourite features. I used to have a basic foam roller, but hated pressing on my vertebrae with it. This is a game changer.

Game changer for .y morning stretches, this thing really gets in between the shoulder blades. My PT can tell the difference from my regular use.
