Great for baking. Full-flavored yet subtle.
This is the best kosher salt I have found, and I've tried several of them. The smaller but diamond-shaped grind allows it to dissolve well in liquid. It tastes great both on raw foods and in casseroles and baked goods. I love the taste on raw vegetables so much more than other kosher salts because it's more subtle, yet still clearly there.

Perfect for a Salt Rinse or to Add to Foods!
Recently I had a root canal redone and let me tell you that is a whole other level of irritation. When I add about half a tablespoon of this salt to warm water and swish it around in my mouth, my gums and tooth feel much better. It actually reduces the pain for a while. I also tried this when making rice and you could use it when boiling pasta! It adds a good flavor to foods instead of a metallic bitter taste. I will never go back to using regular salt after trying this! In fact mostly I've been using this and a pink Himalayan salt in a salt grinder. I look forward to years of use from this very large box. I'd say it is a bit unwieldy so pick it up with both hands as it is pretty heavy and I've dropped the whole box on the pantry floor at least one time! Lesson learned but nothing spilled out so that was good! I have recently discovered a cookbook that calls for THIS particular salt and I'm looking forward to trying some of the recipes. That was why I bought the salt in the first place. In the meantime I'm finding lots of uses for this salt. Perfect for Grilling – High-Quality Kosher Salt
I bought this specifically to season my ribeyes before grilling, and it was phenomenal. The flavor it adds is excellent, and the texture makes it super easy to spread evenly. Overall, this is a high-quality salt that elevates any dish — a must-have for grilling period. (also, there is an easy pour option, and it worked decently - it was a little difficult when its completely full)

It's one of the few salts out there that test undetectable in heavy metals, and at the same time without anti caking agents. Just clean, pure salt.

Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt is easily the best salt I’ve ever used in my kitchen. The texture is perfect: light, flaky, and easy to pinch. It makes seasoning by feel more precise and enjoyable. It dissolves quickly and evenly, and the flavor is clean and balanced without the harshness or bitterness that some other salts can bring. What sets it apart is how forgiving it is. Because of the larger flakes and lower density, it’s much harder to accidentally oversalt your food. Most professional chefs and cookbooks that mention “kosher salt” are referring specifically to this brand. This is an essential item in my pantry. If you’re still using table salt or another dense kosher salt, it’s worth making the switch. You’ll notice the difference immediately.

A Good Alternative to Traditional Table Salt
This is a good salt for food preparation. It is not as salty as typical table salt which makes controlling the amount in the final preparation easier.
