Did not disappoint at all. I followed the growing instructions and it worked. I’ve had great germination, great growth, tasty and healthy carrots.

First, starting onions from seed is a very slow process, so expect it to take a long time. It WILL work and you'll have more control of how your onions develop than you get with sets. I had at least an 80% germination rate, and 90% of the seedlings grew into plants.

Good enough. Slightly weak varieties, struggled taking off and the bulbs sometimes died halfway to maturity, so I just ate those ones. But the rest are big and going strong so I'll save them and cure them this fall. I would recommend to a friend.

As a small farm, every seed we purchase is crucial to our bottom line. As such, we use every caution and preventative step to ensure a successful crop to eat from. We first purchased these seeds last year and had zero germination. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and blamed external factors such as a difficult weather season. This year we have tried germinating them once through traditional method we use across our seeds successfully - no germination and we assumed maybe method, maybe early temperatures played a factor. We ordered them twice more following all the recommended germination steps provided by the company and we have yet to see any beet sprout successfully. After four failed germinations from the same brand we have to assume the seeds are not as good a quality as others. We have had success with carrot, radish and cabbage assortments by the same company but the beets never work.
