Powder at the Bottom of the Bag
I don't really know how to tell that if these are working, but as long as my septic continues to function well I guess that would be a win for this product. I have had no back-ups or septic issues since using these. They are super easy to use since you just pop one in the toilet closest to the septic take each month and then flush it down once it dissolves. These smell unpleasant to me but I only have to smell it for a second when opening the bag to get a tablet and then it is in the toilet and I can no longer smell it. the bag is resalable which is nice. The bag they came in was full of powder on the bottom from inside the tablets, so I assume that at least one of them was broken. When I finish the bag, I will probably flush the remaining powder as one last does.

Pods broke open in shipping
I’ve used similar products for my RV and they work well so I figured this would be good for our home septic too. The pods make it very easy to use, but my low rating is because some were no longer pods when I received my shipment. They broke open and there was a powdery mess at the bottom of the bag. What do you do with that?

Painless
These are super easy to use. Plop it in the toilet and flush it down. They do smell and for a while I stored them (sealed) under my bathroom sink and couldn’t figure out why it smelled. But after figuring out it was the pods and put them in a ziplocked bag for a double seal, it’s fine. Its not a horrible smell, just not one I want to smell every time I open my cabinet. No problems with a blockage or sluggish septic system since using these pods.

Can't beat it
I can only assume that these are working because I can't exactly check the septic tank. But we've had zero issues with slow drainage in our pipes which is something we experienced before we started using these treatment tablets. Our tank only requires one tablet per month, but I did use two tablets for the initial dose. They're much more convenient than the box of loose powder that we have used in the past. That product worked for us as well, but it was much more of a chore to use it. You plop one of these tablets into the toilet, wait for it to dissolve, and then flush. You really can't get any simpler than that. Only time will tell if these continue to work for us, but right now, we plan to keep them as part of our regular maintenance.

Easy to use
You just toss a small pod down the toilet closest to the septic tank each month. Very easy. Hardest part is to remember to do it each month. And the back of the bag offers a url on the back to sign up for reminders, but I just added it to my phone’s to do cleaning list.

Good cost!
We live near the water with a high water table so always have issues with the septic system. Using monthly treatments helps SO MUCH.I do like that these are pre measured little pods (like a tide pod) that you drop into the toilet.I have gotten the powder in the past and it gets bugs in it which is gross. I do not see having that issue with these pods.It dissolved in the toilet in a few minutes, and didn't leave a residue or anything funky left behind.Only time will tell how well they work, but as long as we have no issues they are working!
