The watch band is comfortable and easy to use in both in hot and cold temperature and it is light weight. I purchased it for use on my travels, because I do not want risk loosing my other watches or having a watch stolen. I now wear this watch for non-travel use (day to day around the house) as well as travel because of it is comfortable and stylish. The raised "glass" magnifies the day-date which is a nice feature. Swiss made.

and the description did not mentioned magnifying glass. I kept it bc to return I would need to go to another country so it was not worth it. I kept it but I dont recommend
