I’ve been using the SEGUMA Level 2 EV Charger for over a month, and it has performed flawlessly. It’s installed outdoors under a carport and stays plugged in 24/7, handling both rain and direct sunlight without any issues. I chose this charger not only for its affordability but also for its ability to control charging amperage. Since it’s connected to a 100-amp home service, managing the amperage is crucial for me. This feature gives me peace of mind—especially when others need to charge—because I can control the load directly through the charger rather than relying on someone to monitor it. Setup was quick and easy, and I’ve had zero problems since day one. Overall, this charger exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended—A++!

I like this thing. All I have to do is park my car and plug this in, and it just goes. Setup was pretty easy- I plugged it in, set it to the maximum safe amperage for my wiring (some electrical knowledge is useful here) and that was it. I bought this one to replace a worse one I had that required me to activate it for each charge via an app. It often struggled to connect to wifi for whatever incomprehensible reason, necessitating multiple re-sets per week. But this charger, however, has been so easy. I haven't had to mess with it at all since I set it up several months ago. It just works. It charges at the expected speed for my selected amperage. And yes, as other reviews have indicated, it gets a little warm during operation, but that's just kinda how electricity works. I have not observed it getting properly "hot," however.

The charger arrived fast and delivered as instructed. No problems. Hooked it up and adjusted to appropriate setting for my use 16 amps @ 220v. It is running off a EcoFlow delta 3 pro to charge a ford lightning truck. Works great.

So far so good. Bought this to replace one (different brand) that lasted about a year. The old one had a longer cord but this one is just the right length. We use it daily to charge our Jeep 4xe, and several times on the weekends between running around town for errands. Can’t beat the price either. If it lasts a year I’d call it a win.

The device was installed, so far so good.

Clip mechanism is absolute garbage. In cold weather the clip will not release, and after wrestling with it for a half hour had to jam a screwdriver into the port to pry the clip up and out. Permanent damage to car.

Had this for a year now and its still great

I ran into a situation where I was on vacation and I didn't have a way to charge without driving a literal 30 minutes to the nearest charging station. I soon learned that the house where I was staying had a 240V hook up in the garage. I did some quick research and had this EV charger shipped to my location. It arrived on-time and I couldn't be more pleased. Here's why. The cord is lengthy, so it stretched out of the garage (which was full of garage stuff) and reached to my vehicle. One of the things I was concerned about was that none of the chargers that could be delivered via Prime allowed for an amperage step-down. The reason this matters is that the 240V outlet in the garage was rated for 30A. I needed to find a charger that would not exceed that amperage. I came across this charger and it works great! I was able to adjust the amperage down from 32A to 24A, which is great for 30A receptacle. One thing to consider is to be sure which connector you have. This garage had a NEMA 14-30R connection, where the bottom prong is shaped at a 90 degree angle to the left. This prong is compatible with NEMA 14-30P connections. Therefore, I bought a converter that allowed for a NEMA 14-30R wall connection and it allowed for the NEMA14-50 connection that comes with this Level 2 charger. All that say: just be aware of the receptacle you have. If it's not compatible, just purchase a converter and you should be good to. Just be aware of the amperage on the charger!
