It was the first time i saw dried bamboo shoots, when this packet gt delivered . And it smelled weired...like wooden saw dust which remain wet for some time in a confined space. But while preparing them, after washing/rinsing them 4-5 times , 80% of that smelll goes away. After pressure cooking them in enough water for 10 minutes at sim after whistle , and repeted washing 3-4 times after that .. all the weired smell was gone. Tried making curry out of them like Northeastern recipes but failed miserably. But the stir fried sabji type made of them was supered.. no difference thn fresh shoots . Fresh bamboo shoots hardly comes in view here so these are a great find. Just was n wash and boil and wash n wash again .. thn stirfried them spicy... Great.

Last night prepared chicken with bamboo shoots and the taste was super amazing. Reminded me of my days staying in Guwahati. Thank you for providing such an amazing product. Looking forward to try other products from your store. Keep it up 👍👍

As per the price charged it's a useless product. When the product was delivered and saw where it was manufactured it was in Guwahati. Same city where I reside. Ideally bamboo shoot from North East should be very superior but this was one below standard. Complete wastage of money.

This bamboo shoot doesn't have any smell at all. Not worth the price. Wastage of money.
