The DJI Focus Pro is hands down one of the best autofocus tools I’ve used. The LiDAR system locks focus quickly and accurately, even in tricky lighting conditions. It’s incredibly helpful for solo operators or small crews, especially when precision is key. It can be tricky if there’s too much haze in the scene.Build quality is excellent, and the grip is ergonomic for long shoots. It integrates seamlessly with my rig and has become a must-have for interviews, handheld work, and gimbal shots.If you’re already in the DJI ecosystem or looking for reliable autofocus with manual control options, this is a fantastic investment. It just works—and works really well.Battery life is not the best but it last me around 2 hours with continuous autofocus.

This system is a must have if you are using prime or anamorphic lenses and you do not have a dedicated focus puller. Value is immeasurable and the ease of use, once you set up the system, is very straightforward. Build quality is excellent.

Everything has been used and screws were out with no bags. I was charged for a brand new set and I was sent an open box unit. Hopefully I can be compensated or swap out for a new one. There is no boxes or warranty papers in the case or shipping box.

Overhyped. I am not a fan of DJI lidar. This works better than the lidar on my ronin 4D, but it’s disappointing. I thought I would love it but I don’t like using it, and it’s just sitting on my shelf now. I regret the purchase, honestly. Having to make it learn lens profiles is a drag, and it doesn’t really work very well. It isn’t super intuitive, and felt like a bulky addition to my rig. Actually, I got it in the middle of a production and was too tired during off days to even figure out how to mount it properly!!! IT DOESN’T WORK WELL WITH HAZE OR FOG, so, consider that, if you use haze regularly like I do!! I might keep it just to complete a remote focus pull system with my existing stuff, but, it’s really expensive and I kinda regret the purchase, it’s just sitting on my shelf.

Using the Focus Pro with a BMPCC4K and Sirui Mars anamorphic lenses. This thing always nails and keeps focus, it just never misses. Extremely simple to use, storing and calibrating lenses is a breeze, it's easy to mount to an existing cage, though mounting to a RS3 gimbal with handrails was a bit tricky.It worked so well on a recent shoot that I bought a second one for the B-cam that always stays on sticks.I have three gripes/wishes:1) my 75mm lens has a minimum focus distance of more than 1m (the required distance to calibrate the lens) and I haven't yet figured out a workaround - I'd love a software update that allows manual entry, or a selectable group, of minimum focus distance.2) the 30cm cables are too short for some builds. Make them 60cm, charge a couple more bucks, and everyone wins.3) The activation process is extremely annoying.All told, this is a fantastic product, and if I ever get a third camera, I'll probably buy another one.

I purchased 2 of these to use with the Sirui Nightwalker Lens Set and Sirui MARS Anamorphic lens set. This autofocus system is exceptional. It made shooting with those lens so much easier. I definitely would recommend for any cinematic manual lens set. I know the price is up there a bit. However, you will not regret the purchase. I guarantee it.
