Great for cutting foam for scenery for Christmas village turned out really well and easy to use.

Smashing little kit..worked a treat and I was delighted with the extra wire to use when it snapped. Had fun carving some polystyrene props for Panto .

I used this on a project that has polystyrene, styrofoam and expanding foam. Polystyrene and styrofoam, it slid through like it was nothing, and was incredibly easy to carve. Expanding foam was much more difficult, and it did snap the wire after an hour of carving or so, but that’s expected as expanding foam is very tough. I used it to carve small details into the expanding foam, and carried on with a knife. It’s easy to use, and easy to accidentally burn yourself too - learnt the hard way of course. However please make sure a respirator is worn during use, it gets VERY smoky!

Only orderd this morning on prime delivery and received it this evening, plugged it in chose the cutter I wanted there is 3 options, at first it didnt heat up , my bad you have to make sure the end bit pushes right down , I didnt do it far enough at first , heated up within seconds and iv tried all 3 cutters and it's brilliant does exactly what it's meant to do , the thin wire cutter I felt like it might of snapped the wire I was little dubious but just take it slow and they glide so smoothly through the polystyrene, does give off a little smoke but it's heated tool that's burns through so can be expected, cones with a little stand too It's brilliant just what I needed
