SOULWIT Headband Cover for Sony WH-1000XM3 (WH1000XM3) Headphones, Replacement Headstrap Pad Repair Part (Black)

This is a good quality replacement headband. The material quality is as good as oem. Be careful when pushing the clips through the metal frame. I bent one. They are necessary in order to snap the top on and hold the top and bottom together. The provided caps replace the three piece oem caps. Some reviews show a gap at the ends near the caps. This is because they are using the oem caps. The supplied two piece caps cover the gaps for a more finished look. The only difference is the aftermarket caps are a few millimeters longer and prevents the headphones from retracing all the way. If you wear the headphones fully retracted then this may be an issue. Most adults will extend the headphones to at least the first or second setting though. Although the top and bottom are sandwiched at the ends securely by the end caps I feel like the clips that initially snap the upper and lower head band together are a little flimsy. The original head band is one piece so there is no possibility of separating. I don’t know how the two piece will hold up over time. Installation took less than half and hour. Most of the time was spent peeling away the old adhesive from the metal frame of the head band. All of the tools and instructions are supplied. Overall based on the value, quality, and design this is a great replacement considering there aren’t many choices out there.

Great fit, install was simple. Use YouTube video for instructions in addition to included directions. This really improved a pair of Sony MX3 headphones that needed serious refurbishing (in addition to other work); this was the best option. Make sure to carefully remove all of the adhesive residue from the steel frame—I used rubbing alcohol on the stubborn remainder, wanting to avoid GooGone; it worked great, and is less messy.

Finicky installation but decent fit. A little bit of space inbetween the join but considering this is the only available option, I can live with it. Also the headband option for WH1000XM4 DOES FIT THE XM3 ALSO (the box i got says xm3 outside and xm4 inside). The earpads are different between the two models though..

Incredible product! It is not that hard to replace and it looks and feels great.

This is a great replacement for the Sony XM3 and XM4 headphones... You have to be careful with the installation. You must remove literally all remnants of the original headband from the frame. The original headband is attached with some double-sided tape and is difficult to remove. Be careful to not to cut into the wire that connects the drivers together. Also, while the instructions state that you use the replacement end caps iso the Sony ones, you still can use the Sony end caps, this will retain the original OEM end caps. Make sure you use the double-sided tapes too tuck in the loose ends of the headband. The headband looks just like the originals and are just as comfortable. It's a great replacement for the price at $30. Get 'em while you can because like all Chinese products, the price will go up a lot if the tariffs are not rescinded.

The setup was quick and easy, taking about ten minutes—even with a few distractions. I purchased this product out of frustration with my headphones repeatedly getting caught in my hair. I wish I had done this sooner, as it will help extend the lifespan of my headphones.

Fit is 95%, feel and texture is great, cushion is great. 5 stars overall.

I materiali sono ottimi, uguali se non qualcosina di meglio dei pezzi originali delle cuffie, la spugna è bella morbida e non dà fastidio. Procedura di montaggio era alquanto semplice ma ci è richiesto del tempo se si usa il foglio con le istruzioni che ti aiuta coi passaggi (circa 20 minuti). L'unica pecca leggera da come si vede nella foto è che la pelle non entra e rimane fuori e mi da un po' fastidio, anche perché penso che così col passare del tempo si rovina tramite sudore e attrito, ma spero di no. Molti sanno come me che a molti marchi piace incollare pezzi dove non c'è bisogno, ciò rende il riparo un po' una frustrazione, il che potrebbe portare al prodotto di rovinarsi quando si vuole cambiare/rimpiazzare un pezzo. Ma con questo prodotto quel fastidio non c'è più se ci si vuole cambiare di nuovo il pezzo dopo parecchi anni, praticamente ci sono dei clip che si attaccano da sotto e in sù ed è una buona "invenzione", il ché rende il montaggio e il rimpiazzo più facile e meno stressante. :)

Ensuivant bien les indications de démontage et de montage et ça s'est bien passé pour mon M3. Le résultat est très satisfaisant.

Fits very well, easy to assemble, happy with the result
