Samsung S700D 3.1ch Soundbar w/Wireless Dolby Atmos Audio, Ultra Slim Design, Q-Symphony, SpaceFit Sound Pro, Adaptive Sound, Game Mode Pro, HW-S700D/ZA

This soundbar is a nice addition to my Samsung U8000F Smart TV. This soundbar adds to the sound of the TV and when you choose Q Symphony you can use it in conjuction with your TV speakers so that they're not just setting idle. Or you can choose the DTS setting and give the soundbar full responsibility. This soundbar comes with its on remote with which you can set the tone. I set the tone on mine to BASS. Remember, this soundbar has the bass speakers built-in so there is no separate subwoofer. Obviously the bass is not as booming as a separate subwoofer would provide but the soundbar serves the purpose that I bought it for which is to give fuller sound. I bought mine on sale and got a very good deal so there's good value. The soundbar is easy to set up. Just connect it to the HDMI eARC port. Use the other HDMI ports on the TV for a DVD player or VCR and not the HDMI eARC port. I can't testify to the Bluetooth connectivy capabilities of this soundbar since mine is directly connected to my TV set. The soundbar does come with some hangers although I simply sat on soundbar on top of my TV stand in front of my TV. At 26 and three eighth inches it sits between the TVs feet. This unit is corded and does not requires charging. The unit has good weight to it and is a sturdy build. I recommend this soundbar if you want a fuller sound from your TV. If you are looking for a soundbar with lots of booming base, you should get one with a separate subwoofer.

This turned out to be a great buy for my PC setup. The sound quality is exactly what I expect from a Samsung audio product. I’m running it through an optical cable, and games sound fantastic, clear voices, detailed effects, and a surprisingly immersive feel with Dolby, DTS, and the 3D audio modes. I switched from a cheaper brand using Bluetooth which is stereo only. For something with small bass drivers, the low end is better than I expected. It fills out the sound nicely without distortion. One of the main reasons I bought this model was the length, and it fits perfectly on my monitor stand under a 34" ultrawide. It doesn’t block the screen, and it doesn’t look oversized or cramped. The build feels solid, and the controls are straightforward. The only minor annoyance is that when it auto‑powers off, I have to switch it back to the optical input when turning it on again. It might just be a setting I haven’t adjusted yet, so not a dealbreaker. Overall, great sound, clean design, and a perfect fit for a wide monitor setup. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

This a great match to The Frame TV's, primarily because the sound bar only sticks out 1.75 inches when wall mounted, so it's a nice match to the slim profile of the TV. I snowed one star because the mounting hardware is garbage. The wall anchors provided are terrible and the screws wouldn't thread through the tips, that caused them to fail and spin a bigger hole in the drywall. Take my advice and get some good mounting toggles at the hardware store BEFORE you mount this. Otherwise, it sounds great and I really like the look of it on the wall compared of my previous sound bar.

I was skeptical about not having a sub-woofer but am very pleased with the sound quality. I have paired this with a 75" Samsung TV. Thanks to the Q-Symphony technology the sound coming from the TV and soundbar are sync'd perfectly. Would recommend to anyone who has a Samsung TV with Q-Symphony. Well worth the money.

Very sad! Paid almost $400 for a sound bar that was listed to be compatible with my Samsung D50 TV. It arrived & I hired an electrician to install it & paid $100 for his service only to find out the thing doesn't work! No sound comes from the TV through the sound bar. In order for that to occur, now I have to buy another cable that I will have to try & attach myself. Now I'm up to $510.00 & I still don't have clear sound from my TV until I invest more money. This is unacceptable & I'm not very pleased, to say the least. What will a big company like you do to make me happy? I don't have money to burn.

Purchased for a small bedroom to go with a 2015 Samsung QN90 television due to the supposed benefit between the two. The vocals are clear and bright and the midrange is solid for a small soundbar. It gets plenty loud but it severely lacks in any action scene and in bass. Trying to find the additional sub woofer to see if it will help. I do not notice any room correction after setting it to run and the different settings don’t seem to do much in terms of sound. It was easy to setup and WiFi worked fairly well with only an occasional drop of signal and a minimal delay which could probably be removed by adjusting settings. eArc connection had the best overall performance to my ears. In all fairness the TV was just released and not in stores at the time. Possible updates could change the overall experience. I’d suggest reading the reviews before purchasing. For now my older unit (S***s) sounded much better, even if not as advanced as the Samsung.

The soundbar was easy to install. The sound is a little better than without it. The controls and setup are very inconvenient.
