Excellent functionality. The slippery material on the sole plate really does allow it to move over fabrics noticeably easier, and it works better than the non-stick coating on my prior Black & Decker iron. This iron heats up quickly, holds a lot of water on a single fill and generally performs exceptionally well. I really like how there are more steam holes than average, and that they are distributed over a larger area. It allows steam onto much more of the clothing in use. That further speeds up the ironing process. Another nice feature is the way the cable is connected to the iron by a pivot, that prevents the cable from getting in the way as you reposition the iron in use. This iron is also a bit lighter than the smaller model I previously had. My prior B&D iron used a backlit digital screen to display the current settings. While that was much easier to read than the tiny print on the dial on this model, a failure of the digital electronics was ultimately what killed the prior one. So that approach seems less durable, and more failure-prone. Another nice feature of this model is the narrowly tapered sole plate. That makes it even easier to get into tight areas such as between shirt buttons. I wish B&D included a small water-filling pitcher the way they did with the prior model. It is the easiest method of adding water to the tank. Fortunately I kept the old one and still use it. I find the wattage, 1200 W, of this model works perfectly. My prior iron was rated at 1500 watts, but I notice no difference in performance with this 1200 watt model, and the new one even heats up faster than the prior model.

I love this iron!! I'm an avid quilter and I need a reliable iron that withstands daily use and functions well. This iron meets my standards. It's a beautiful design, iron place is silky smooth, no snags, and irons beautifully. You can choose to use steam or not. Functions well either way. Water thank holds adequate water and doesn't leak. Cord is a good length for easy ironing. Heats up in 90 seconds and holds heat extremely well. Only con is its a tad heavy especially when water tank is full, but it's still comfortable to use and fits my hand well. Great purchase! Highly recommend

I will start this review out by saying I absolutely love the color of this iron, even more beautiful up and close in person, great polished coat and sleek design. The steam output is fantastic, as well as the various ironing options on the iron. Durable and not too flimsy, I appreciated how you can retract the cord. Size is to be expected. Great iron and looks beautiful as well as being functional, great iron.

LOVE THIS IRON!! I rarely write reviews. This iron is so good. It makes ironing easy! It gets super hot and is very smooth!!! Love the feature of being able to iron around buttons! I don’t put water in my irons - FYI. I use a spray bottle of water when needed so I can’t comment on leaking etc. I iron a lot of cotton and linen and it removes wrinkles after 1-2 swipes!!

It was a bit difficult getting use to the settings on my iron because they were more specific than my old iron. Once I learned to adjust the steam level, it glided well and removed wrinkles easily without water leakage. It is heavier than I expected, but I have adjusted. Use it a while and play with the setting to get the results you want. Now I iron effortlessly without adjusting settings.

I bought this iron in August 2024. I must say, I'm glad I made this purchase. I absolutely love the color and the bottom plate has a protective layer that I love because it doesn't get that nasty cakey film most irons get in time. I've had it for roughly 3 months now and I can only say good things about it. The only problem I have with it is that the water tank holds a lot of water, compared to my previous irons, and since I suffer from finger malformation because of my arthritis, if I fill the tank to full, it does get too heavy for me. Even though I don't fill its tank all the way, I can iron 3 school uniforms ( long & short sleeve plus pants) from Monday to Wednesday on full steam. I use this iron from Monday to Saturday every week. No complaints as of now. I will update if there is any issue but, as of now, I can say it works great. The steam button function is very strong; the spray function is a fine mist instead of large squirts that get your clothes wet; the tank filling area is large enough as to fill with ease; it gets very hot so it does remove wrinkles easily; the cord length could be a little longer for my liking but, it's not a deal breaker for me; I have not used it as an upright clothes steamer, so I can't review it for that. Definitely recommend this iron. As long as you follow directions and clean it as the manual says and use filtered water, it is my belief that this iron will last very long.

I love this iron. It has a nice weight, holds a lot of water and the steam pressure is great. I like that it has a long cord. The plate is smooth and it steams vertically. I iron several times a week. It works great from silk to heavy work jeans.

I love it. It’s very sturdy. It seems expensive. It doesn’t drip and leak water all over the place which I’ve had problems with irons in the past doing that it matches my ironing board and I love it.

Yes. I was not happy it came with a European plug fitting without being told that this would be the case in the write up.

Delivered with a European plug so I had to go and buy an adapter and it was difficult to find.
