Allergy
I have been dealing with a Histamine intolerance for 6 years now without knowing exactly what was wrong. I’d go to my dermatologist b/c it felt like Stinging nettles all over along with bumps. The dermatologist brushed me away and gave me anti histamines and when asked “isn’t that a bandage fix?” She replied with, “well you can do what I say or see an allergist”. So after realizing even after the ignorant comment and getting brushed away, I thought id seek what a histamine is and find the more natural way to help myself rather than killing my organs slowly. This is one of 2 books and Vitamin E have really helped slow if not stop my allergy.

Great Information - Well Written - Easy to Action
A really good balance between being simple to read, easy to understand, yet having more detailed information than a quick Google search will give you. The best book on Low Histamine I have read so far and I would recommend it to anyone who is exploring this aspect of nutrition. Why did I not give it 5 stars? There is a recipe for a low histamine tomato sauce but it lacked a three day meal plan that could kick start someone immediately - helping them to put it into action while the book was still in the hands of the reader. They do other books with this but I wanted that bit now.Good though - very good - would recommend.

Never knew.....
Very informative book! GI Dr. has NEVER mentioned this as a possible source only prescribed drugs to stop abdominal discomfort!!! I thought I was eating "healthy" only to find out these foods were culprits of inflammation. The journal has helped keep track of symptoms.
