Reliable and Quiet – Still Going Strong After 2 Years!
I’ve had this Midea mini fridge with freezer for over 2 years now, and it’s been absolutely fantastic. I use it daily, and it’s held up beautifully—no issues with cooling, freezing, or noise. The freezer actually keeps things frozen (unlike some mini fridges where it’s just “cool”), and the fridge section stays consistently cold. It’s compact but surprisingly spacious inside. I’ve stored everything from drinks and snacks to frozen meals and leftovers. It runs quietly, which is a big plus for dorms, bedrooms, or small apartments. Also, it’s energy efficient—I haven’t noticed any spike in my electric bill. If you're looking for a reliable, long-lasting mini fridge with a real freezer, this is the one. I’d definitely buy it again if I ever needed another.

Quiet, fast cooling and energy efficient.
The Midea mini-fridge and freezer is quiet, efficient and fast cooling. It arrived well protected and crated. It is E-Star certified so it will save on energy usage. The doors are reversable and the stainless steel and black finishes are attractive. I have this primarily for water bottle storage in my workout room, but the freezer is larger than the previous model I had, so I can actually use it for overflow freezer storage. It is not the least expensive mini-fridge you will find, but this is a quality unit. I'm happy with my purchase, and think that if you decide to purchase this item, you too will be glad that you did.

Great Extra Fridge
With all that is going on right now with the pandemic I wanted to get an extra small fridge just in case we needed to stock up or our other fridge broke down. I was looking for something a little bigger than a typical dorm room fridge and this one I thought was great for a really reasonable price (I paid just under $200) I decided to get the black one because while I have stainless in our kitchen it's constantly smudged and I thought the black would be better. After reading the reviews about dented items, I was nervous but mine arrived in perfect condition. It comes in a box with a ton of foam to cushion it so it has to be really thrown around to get bashed in like that. One thing that would have been nice is if they had put unpacking instructions on the outside of the box but I figured out that I needed to peel the paper away rather than trying to turn it sideways. I probably should have brought it to the basement and then unboxed it so I'd suggest moving it where you want. There are some sharp edges at the bottom and when we lifted it to carry it down the stairs I put a small scratch in my wood floor. So be careful of that. I took the advice of some reviewers and let it sit overnight before plugging it it. FYI the instructions are inside in the drawer. I could not see the booklet because it had plastic around it that just looked like padding. Not much in there but it does tell you how to set the temp. It comes with a small ice tray. When I plugged it in the next day it started right off and was super quiet. I put some water in the ice tray and a couple hours later I went down to check and it was mostly frozen. I really love that this has a separate fridge and freezer. Also the freezer is a good enough size that you could keep a few things in there. Also I like that there is a drawer in the fridge portion. It's perfect. You can also take the drawer out if you want to. I think I could put a medium sized turkey in there to thaw. It's really roomy. The compressor is located at the bottom in the back. That is completely open, but be aware that it cuts into the space inside the very bottom of the fridge. I am really happy with my purchase and feel confident recommending this to anyone in need of a small fridge. Thanks for reading my review Becky Brooks

Works well and is pretty quiet
Received this earlier than expected. It came well packaged, in a box with styrofoam surrounding it. There was no damage to the fridge. It weighs about 50-60lbs, so you may need 2 people to move this safely without fully tilting it. Don’t cut the straps from the box until you’re done moving it to wherever you’re setting it up. That’s what holds the bottom to the box (which is a styrofoam cushion). Once you cut the straps off, you can just lift the box up to open it. If you're looking for the set up instructions, it’s inside the fridge in the bottom drawer. Although you don’t really need them. It just gives recommendations on where to place it (not in an enclosed space, not in direct sunlight, etc). I let it sit for 24 hours before peeling off tape (very well taped), cleaning it and plugging it in. It took the next day to properly cool. Set the temperature in between Max and Medium, which keeps my drinks at the perfect temperature. It runs pretty quietly and I don’t notice the sound at all. Some cons would be the shelf sizes. It won’t actually fit any bottles standing up, you’d have to lay them flat on their side instead. Of course you could remove top shelf if you wanted. I have noticed the condensation at the back of the fridge. Kind of a pain to scrape it if you have a full fridge. It comes with a small plastic scraper and a very small ice cube tray (I bought extra ones for the freezer). Don’t let things touch that back wall, like drinks…they’ll freeze and if it’s a soda can it’ll explode (don’t ask me how I know this). It’s also pretty low to the floor, would recommend using the bottom feet to raise it a bit. Or I bought a small fridge stand to put this on (still on the way from Amazon). Bought this for the office space so I don’t have to walk to the kitchen to get a drink. Overall, considering the price, this does the job well and was a good buy.

I've had this fridge for many months now and it's still working perfectly. I have a smaller solar power system and a 2000 watt inverter and it has no problem powering the fridge. When the fridge compressor first comes on there's a surge of energy required but then within about 2 seconds it drops down much lower. Before I bought this I wasn't sure how well it would work with an inverter but it's been completely fine. Downside to the fridge is the layout of the door is just plain stupid. It has a can rack that doesn't fit a can easily; they are hard to get out and the space would be much better devoted to allowing for storing as many different items as possible. If I could pull out the can rack and / or adjust it to be a set of small shelves with "railings" on each one to stop stuff falling out it would be much better. On the otehr side of the door is a area I think meant to hold taller bottles with a swing out "railing" to hold them in. Problem is that if you have shorter items they continually fall out of the door due to the swing out nature of the "railing" meant to hold stuff in. The door is not well thought out at all, just plain stupid design obviously never used by any of the designers for any length of time or they would have spotted these issues immediately. It's disappointing when otherwise it's a great fridge, nice and quiet, energy efficient etc. In the perfect world they'd offer different door configurations for people who want to store actual food not a pile of cans and they'd also test them out themselves by using them in the real world so that they could immediately spot the problems with the can rack etc.

A great buy it is a very good product. Keeps all cold and fresh. Freezer is fantastic , almost like a deep freezer . Recommend it if a student or in small unit.

Bonne grandeur de congélateur.. Manque de commodité dans la porte.. Devrait avoir des tablettes au lieu du rack à canettes..vraiment pas utile pour moi. Petit bac à glaçons et minuscule grattoir fourni 😅

Perfect for bedroom, guest room, home office. Super quiet and currently in bedroom. Use for skincare, vitamins, snacks (fruit, full sized milk and 1 litre beverages). Removable clear drawer, and shelving. I stock extra Costco food in the freezer — it’s absolutely hugh — true to pictures on Amazon. Love this mini fridge and freezer.
