We love our aqua dragons!!! This kit is wonderful! Instructions are easy to follow and the kit is well designed. We have had great success hatching a ton of them and they are so cool to watch! You get to see the entire life cycle close up and it’s great! Our 3 year old has enjoyed every step! Note: you do need to have bottled water for the tank. This could be why some other customers didn’t have success. The brine shrimp won’t hatch with tap water! Anyway - awesome product! Would definitely recommend!

Great Kit! Super easy to take care of and manage. Spawned a massive colony! Only downside is the poor quality of the built-in LED, but it serves its purpose, and does a pretty decent job of it too!

Bought as Xmas stocking stuffer for my son. We set tank up according to directions . Hatched the eggs and after a few days the dragons(water bugs) were swimming. Today I noticed as I set tank on kitchen counter near window to get some sunlight there was a puddle under the tank. Come to find out the clear part of tank is not completed enclosed then glued to the base. So basically there is no enclosed bottom. So whatever glue they use is doubling to seal both tank and base together. That’s a poor design. I read up on these tanks leaking. It’s more common than I thought. So I had to transfer water and dragons to a glass container for now. I may either return tank or maybe try to use marine glue to seal bottom. Problem is it’s a very narrow tank and I don’t want to ruin the led lights. Those were a big reason I got it as I thought it would also double as a night light for my son. Cool concept of a product but flawed in design. Updated January 18,2025 I bought aqua dragon eggs and food and clear tank at way lower price. I transferred the water from old faulty tank as website says that you can use same water as there are eggs and essential foods in the used water so a next generation of hatchlings will occur. Followed same directions maintained temp food and water airing a few hatched but not many and lasted only a few days then all died. I’m thinking this really isn’t a long lasting thing. Funny as a kid growing up we had water dragons or something like them that were as big as nickels. I used to catch them but the aqua dragons do not grow big. They die quick and my son and I are bummed. The tanks are so thin we can’t even reuse them to put a gokdfish or a betta in. This seemed like a great gift and that it would give us so much time of enjoyment but sadly it did not. Would I buy this again? No. I will buy a fish next time.

I am enjoying my sea monkeys. I gave 4 star because the eggs I received from this hatched and died rather quickly. I looked at other reviews and one person was successful by having them in the window. I had them in the window, the temperature was where the booklet said it should be, but when it got colder they did not survive. That egg pack lasted maybe 2 weeks. I was bummed so I ordered food and egg refills and moved my monkeys by natural light but not directly infront of the window and they are doing so well! Happy with this purchase!

Great gift for an inquisitive young kid. The aqua dragons have been multiplying and have stayed alive since August now. The aquarium gets green but it says not to change the water. I keep it in the windowsill so they get plenty of sunlight. Just have to remember to aerate the water daily.

Giving 2 stars because I bought 2 of these. One had a lot of the eggs hatch, they started growing, and then they all just suddenly died. All directions were followed. Sorry, correction. ONE shrimp survived for a while longer before eventually dying too. With the 2nd one, the same thing happened. Seemed like they were all dead in this one. We were all disappointed that it had happened with that one too, but then, some how, a few weeks later, babies started popping up again and now there's a thriving colony. We don't understand, but we're happy lol. I got a different aqua dragon tank at the same time as these and that was a disaster too. I'm thinking it was just bad batches mixed with luck?

Amazing!! My kids are loving these sea monkeys AKA Aqua Dragons! They hatch slower than expected however they are super fun to watch grow and getting bigger every day!

These are awesome! My son loves these little dragons! It's giving him a sense of responsibility to take care of them. The instructions are very helpful and clear. The whole family enjoys looking at them.

It took a little while longer than we thought for them to grow so we could see them, they are now swimming all around though and it's so neat to watch them! Very easy to care for, good quality and matches the description!

Purchased this in December as my son's christmas gifts. We're happy with the hatching rate. They have started reproducing now. We placed ours in the east window.
