I’ve been looking for a pair of keychain edc nail trimmers for quite a while now. I decided to give the Mr. Green set a try, and I must say they are worth every penny! They came in a nice package and arrived in a timely manner. The nail trimmers themselves are on the smaller side and you may not be able to get your nails trimmed in one pinch, but they are sharp and cut at a nice angle. For reference I wear size XL gloves and was able to trim most fingers in about two pinches of the trimmers. When not using they fold up small and mostly discrete. I have had people ask me what was on my keychain since they couldn’t tell what they were. When unfolded there is an emry board and a nail picker to remove dirt under your finger nails. So far the product has been great and I have no issues. Thanks Mr. Green!

Years ago, I found a set of nail clippers in a store in France that was completely different than the traditional nail clippers that I had used all my life. They were beautifully constructed and seemed to be of very high-quality materials with a great finish and sharpness and made clean and smooth cuts. These clippers are the same exact design as those French ones that I have had for a few years. I like the design, because not only is the whole thing very compact, but also in its closed position the sharp edges of the cutters are fully closed, and no sharp edges are exposed. This makes it possible to have these in your small pant pocket or on a keychain without the risk of getting cut when you reach for them. Another important design factor (for me at least) is that unlike other wide-jaw nail clippers there is no spring in the jaw to open the two sides. The springs in clippers that have them invariably suffer metal fatigue over time and eventually snap. These are also a whole lot less expensive than the French ones that I own but only with a seemingly marginal lower quality. The fit and finish on the French ones is definitely better, but these are of perfectly acceptable quality. I think that you will like these clippers.

I used a Gosol INOX nail clipper for over 20 years until it finally dulled and needed to be replaced. If memory serves I believe it was purchased at a jewelry store for $25-$30. The construction and finish on the INOX was something special, on a par with a fine watch. Some reviews for the INOX currently on Amazon indicated the quality did not compare well to older products. I decided to give this Mr. Green clipper a try. It compares a somewhat qualified favorable to my old INOX. The blades are very sharp. Pressure you apply to the spring is similar. The main downside I have found is the nail file surface. On the INOX a crosshatch pattern is cut directly onto the surface. On the Mr. Green, a separate thin metal filing surface has been applied to the inside of the folding cover. This surface is uncomfortable to touch while using the clipper. Also, the shiny stainless steel finish is a bit slippery compared to the more sure matte finish on the INOX. This a good enough clipper at the price. If you've never owned a Gosol you'll probably be completely happy with this one. I been spoiled having my old INOX but I'm sure this one will work just fine. I may use this one for travel and spring for the pricier model to keep at home.

This is my second pair. Liked the first so much gave one to my brother. Now dad is looking for a pair. Good size, function great, very sharp and seem to be well built. I recommend anyone that hates long nails to grab a pair.

Really nice to have these on my keychain for cuticle or hangnail cleanups! Keeps me from picking at them. It folds up really tight, shouldn’t open without meaning to.

MR.GREEN Portable Nail Clippers had me feeling like I was the king of precision grooming—for about two months. The sleek, foldable design was incredibly convenient, especially for travel, and the clippers were sharp and handled even the thickest nails with ease. They felt sturdy and well-made, and I genuinely thought these would be my go-to for years to come. But alas, the honeymoon phase ended. After two months of regular use, they broke unexpectedly. One moment I was trimming a nail, the next I was staring at a sad, broken clipper. While I loved them when they worked, their short lifespan was disappointing. If you’re in the market for something temporary but effective, these are solid. Just don’t expect a long-term relationship. 3 stars.

I love how portable these are. I’ve kept them in my backpack for at least a year and they are so handy I don’t remember the last time I used my bathroom nail trimmers. Super slim, the file is very nice, and they have never rusted or lost spring
