Use to repair a simrad marine radar cable, was easy, better than remove and replace the whole cable 👍🏻

I used these connectors to replace a damaged section of expensive cat-8 for a customer and added a short patch cable which saved the customer $$$.

These work as intended, but the instructions could be a bit better. I had to watch a YouTube video on how to install. I recommend using the T568B standard on all DIY cables and keep it consistent across your home network.

Easy to install on the bare wire

Don't buy this product. Waste of money. Doesn't even have installation manual for color coding wire.

A nice item to have if you're doing fieldwork as a tech and need a quick fix. I like the metal construction and build quality, and the assembly of the cables is easier than others.. Still prefer keystone jack and plate installs, but this works OK if install cleanliness isn't an issue. I always use TIA-B for my ethernet jacks, be sure to use the same on both sides (though most computers and switches now auto-crossover if needed).

I found it a lot more difficult to set up than a conventional connector. But definitely felt more secure once done.

After buying a tub of RJ45 pass through connectors for some CAT7 23awg cable that wouldn't fit due to the cable thickness and trying some other from the crimping kit I bought, I was worried I might end up going round in circles buying expensive RJ45s that don't connect to my cable. Luckily, I found these excellent little connectors that saved me alot of time and money. Well made, easy to use for a novice such as myself and well worth the the extra for quality.

It’s supposed to be an easy option but it’s anything but. Comes with no instructions, so eventually found something on YouTube. The white block does not hold the wires in place so there is a lot of movement when trying to close up. This is extremely difficult especially when you are meant to trim the wires first. So the slightest movement and the wires are not in position. The blades on the clamp do not pierce the sleeve properly so getting a good connection can be a bit hit and miss. Had to abandon this aweful gadget and revert to the traditional connector and crimping tool instead. Sorry, but poor no instructions from the company or included with the product and really bad design means I cannot recommend this product.
